A project of years finally complete. I have moved overseas so without getting joy to play with this marvel beyond the bench testing I am putting My Brugnetti Aurora Single group lever for sale.
The machine is entirely refurbished and updated. There were significant hurdles from day one as the Heat exchange tube had broken. There was some inventive plumbing done at some point to bypass this and run the machine as an semi-dipper. The case was non original and to top it off the frame was trashed by a courier.
eventually I managed to source Brugnetti's Pump version of the same machine and from it a nice replacement boiler, frame and case.
Refurbishment included
The machine worked wonderfully when bench tested. Very forgiving and makes wonderful shots. The cult status of this unusual HX lever is well deserved. It's ready for years of loyal service.
Includes a naked and regular portafilter
Item is located in Canberra. Would far prefer a local sale so discounts for collection offered

Refurbishment included
- Replacement of rusted section of frame, professionally welded
- Fresh powdercoat
- Fully descaled, stripped, refinished.
- Replacement of the majority of seals including cafelat silicone group seal
- Replacement of hardware with stainless steel, boiler flange bolts with hex key so never to be an issue to be removed in the future.
- New group spring
- New stainless bearing runners in group
- New lasercut stainless steel front plate, thicker and sturdier than the original
- addition of Anti-vac valve
- Addition of autofill circuit with splash guard
- Addition of power switch
- New stainless cool-touch steam wand
