  • !!!SOLD!!! - FS Baratza Vario (MELB)

Relisting this as it was prematurely moved to the SOLD section.

I have a Baratza Vario to sell.

Was originally the 885 but i upgraded it to effectively the 886 (now includes new metal portaholder kit and new display board).

It comes with 54mm ceramic burrs that are fantastic and can even grind close to Turkish.

I have used it all the way from Aeropress/French press to a very fine espresso grind.

Comes also with the grounds bin holder and burr removal tool.

One thing to note: It comes with a step down transformer/converter as this is the US version. It does not impact anything on the grinder though.

Only reason im selling as the wife won't allow me to use too much of the kitchen bench anymore ;(

    Specs:
    Motor Power: 200W RPM: 1000
    Micrometric step by step Adjustment
    Blades: 54mm ceramic burrs
    Hopper Capacity: 0.2kg
    Net Weight: 4 kg
    Dimensions: 370mm x 125mm x 160mm (HxWxD)

    $300

Pick up from Melbourne or i can post at buyers cost.

    Thanks

Hi toomuchfuel. I'm sure eskimoandrei will confirm to clarify for you. But from the photos it appears to be the standard timed model - Vario. The last picture is no doubt a stock photo of the burr removal tool and shows the Vario-W which the weight based model.

eskimoandrei - I'm wondering if you can estimate how my kgs of beans you've put through this grinder and how old it is. Appreciate your help.

i bought it second hand so hand but the burrs are in fantastic condition. The previous owner had it for 3-4 years whilst I had it for 6 months and 4-5 kgs of beans (if that) whilst I used it. Going by some form of guesstimating I'd say under 60-70kg.
