Thanks for your input SpiderOriginally posted by Spider View Postnot much! I use this exact model at home and have for 15 years. You get very good at grinding a very accurate amount for the basket....if you really wanted to you can put a bowl or receptacle under the chute and 'clear it out' but you'll see it's very minimal with the doser.
Good luck

Is this still available? I'm interested and live in Brisbane. Before asking what postage might cost I'm curious as to how much bean waste there might be (going stale in the doser) given it'd be only be used in a home setting. Monday-Friday I make 2 coffees a day, on weekends this can be up to 6 or more. Interested to hear your thoughts based on your experience.
Cheers
Chris

Residual grinds in a small unit like this is extremely minimal and perfectly suited to the kind of usage you indicated above. Allow $50 for postage costs

!!!SOLD!!! - Mazzer Mini Doser
Once again, the Queen of the Kitchen, has put everything on notice for accumulating to muck coffee paraphernalia and I've been ordered to consolidate my grinder collection. Now I don't have a problem with owning four grinder but she does and as the saying goes, happy wife ... happy life ☺️. Not wanting to be on the receiving end of another dressing down from my other half I've agreed to go back to one grinder, at least only one on the kitchen bench. For this reason I am selling a practically new mazzer mini grinder . It's a fantastic unit that saw a brief stint as a decaf grinder in a friends cafe, before I acquired it. It's hardly been used at all, and presents as new.
I used it for a brief period in between other grinders, but to be honest I find it too slow. I am able to package safely and send anywhere in oz for the cost of postage. Happy to demonstrate if required but all said,
A very solid unit for a budding coffee snob starting out. I'm in Adelaide and the price is $500Tags: None
