  • !!!SOLD!!! - FS Ballarat - LM Linea Mini Modded

    Hi All

Ive started a small business and as it grows so does my need to invest more money back into it......

Hence I have made the decision to sell my (modified by Rick Bond) black La Marzocco Linea Mini.

Purchased in April 2016 from Talk Coffee with Ricks pre-infusion/paddle etc mod read about it here as its too technical for me to explain in detail. In short it adds user adjustable pre-infusion pressure, pre-infusion time controlled by paddle, a softer ramp up, smoother paddle operation etc.

I used it happily for months until another of Ricks mods caught my eye, a few dollars (how i describe it to my wife, really much closer to 1k) later and in November 2016 i now had a Linea mini with the pre-infusion mod plus:

    1. Reduced water debit via updated gicleur
    2. Shot timer
    3. Real time temp display
    4. Button based control of PID target

Included in the sale will be all accessories that came with the machine, two portafilters, baskets etc.

I will also include two "Spetch Design" hand turned walnut portafilter handles (that i haven't fitted yet) and a walnut paddle to match (these were approx $240)

Im willing to deliver to Melbourne, or within reason from me by negotiation (I'm just outside of Ballarat), eg id meet halfway to Adelaide/Canberra when time permits etc

Im after $5250, a bit less than retail price currently but with over 2k worth of mods and extras thrown in.

    Pics to follow

That is an incredible machine. Would be one of the most spectacular modified domestic La Marzocco's in the world. Am sure it will sell quick, glws.

This has all of the capabilities of a Slayer at a fraction of the cost. I've played with Slayers at the cafe at work in combination with an EK43 and the coffee I produce at home with my Rick Bond modified LMLM is every bit as good. I'm going to suggest that there is no better machine in terms of real output than this one.
