Hi chokkidog, thanks for your suggestion. I got the impression this machine was modified. After re reading I'll assume its only upgrade from factory is a shot timer.

I came across this video when researching machines. Compares the Duetto II vs III

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPOmC4lJzZM

Looks like a few little refinements with basically same machine under the hood.

It was a machine Rick Bond owned then refurbished for me. He sent it from Melbourne to me - all boxed up. I never unboxed it. Now it’s for sale. Ok?

Heat up is relatively quick for E61 group due to this model having a higher thermo syphon flow.

    Great machine, GLWS.

    Cheers

    Hi,
It never got unboxed so I simply don't know. The guide from CafeLotta should be accurate. Cheers

That's a very handsome machine. Does it take very long to heat up enough to make a coffee?

  • !!Reposting!! Izzo Alex Duetto II - work by Rick Bond. Not even unboxed.

Hi, due to circumstances I'm selling my 2012 Izzo Alex Duetto II.
This machine is photographed in Rick Bonds workshop (The coffee machinist) earlier this year.
Rick went over this machine from head to toe, replacing anything that wasn't spot on by his standards. And that's pretty high! A new PID is on the new parts list, plus he added a shot timer.

There is literally nothing to do and no guessing as to the condition of any part of this machine. Rick was happy for me to include his name in the add and would vouch for the work done.

The machine was not even unpackaged after receiving it from Rick.
It is ready to transport if necessary as it is very well boxed up and strapped to a small pallet.

It cost me $2948 and that's what I'm asking. This includes transport if necessary.

    I'm in Brisbane.

    Cheers
    Chris
