I bought this recently as I was keen to try it out. I can confirm that it looks to be as straight as they say it is and it’s a very nicely made jug for the price. However I’ve found that I don’t actually like it as much with my current machine which is a Sunbeam EM6910. I’ve got my 6910 tuned to give pretty decent steam power, but it’s still well short of some of the prosumer machines.
I think this jug would go much better with a prosumer machine or possibly with a smaller, less powerful machine than mine like a Gaggia Classic for example as the milk stretches really easily in it. (Or with a commercial machine of course). The current price on these from Barista Hustle means they’re about NZ$68 landed depending on the exchange rate on the day. So save yourself a bit and grab a near new one for NZ$50 including shipping within NZ.
