  • !!!WITHDRAWN!!! - FS: For Sale Elektra A3

Unfortunately things didn't go as planned so here it is again-

For sale is my classic 1995 Elektra A3 'Sixties Super Silent Deliziosa'

I purchased this beautiful machine ten years ago from the original owner as our everyday machine, averaging about 5 coffees a day. It has always been in a domestic environment and has the original decals and portafilters. Run on Bombora anti-scale filters and otherwise impeccably maintained. Simply plug and play for years to come.

Rare in Oz and superior to the T1 for home use. Recently had a new control box fitted and a seal kit in the steam valve.

This is an early model that does not have the chrome solenoid cover behind the group.

A beautiful, docile, idiot proof (i can use it) modern classic. 10 amp. Requires plumbing. Very sad to offer for sale but too many machines and something has to go. (again)

More pics on request or can view anonymously not connected in a retail environment Thursday to Sunday. PM for details if interested.

    Located on the Mornington Peninsula.

    $2200 ONO

Easy way for large pics. Go to your old For Sale post and open each pic in a new tab. Add to this post and hit the upload image icon, then use the 'from url' option. Uncheck the 'host locally' option and you are done.

What a lovely machine. really like that its 10amp cord.
How long does it take to heat up?
And what setup did you use to plumb it?
            cheers

If it helps the sale, it doesn’t require plumbing - you can happily run the pipe to a tap or tank with no issues.

Hey jerry, it's just plumbed to a tap on the floor that goes to an external anti scale filter and pressure reg but with the rotary pump it will pull quite happily from a tank as nick pointed out. The tap has a 'T' so I can run two machines (Don't ask me why). With a little encouragement it's ready to go in about a half hour which is the same as for my Microcasa Leva.

Bump for a clarification and price edit.

The A3 requires both inlet and waste outlet to be plumbed or into a bucket which is what I did. The A3 is a full on commercial machine designed to work 24/7 without a problem. It's also the perfect enthusiasts machine for home because it's totally docile in that environment with a heat up time of around 30 minutes. If there's anything else there is a fantastic review on HB.

I've had three offers for this machine, each I accepted and then nothing. Not one got back. Not one. Don't make offers if you have no intention of following through or at least let me know of a change of mind. And I'm not interested in offers based on whether or not wife is gonna beat the suitcases out of you.

$1700 for pick up or will only quote using Pack & Send. I'm withdrawing it from here in a week.
