Hey All

I came home with a DE1+ today and as such my daily driver has to go to make room.

This has been my (almost) daily use machine for the past 12 months. Has not skipped a beat and makes great espresso as well as really good steam power. It is an aussie machine, purchased from Barazi. Water is fed via internal tank.

I have changed the screen to an IMS version for easier cleaning, and the steam arm to a Rocket branded item, it's adds length so you can rest smaller jugs on the drop tray to steam, and can also swap steam wand tips easily (will come with 4 rocket tips - accessory pack).

It has a small amount of minor marks on the drip tray from jugs and cups, but nothing major.

I have the original box, accessories and have also purchased a proprietary Bezzera strega naked portafilter ($125) which will come with it.

Would rather not post, but will at buyers cost and risk (will need to purchase insurance). I will happily meet up in Melbourne for any easterners, and will deliver between ballarat and Melbourne CBD.

Looking for $2250......... new is around $3300.

Rick may be able to add a PID and freight it direct to you from his workshop.

I’d be happy to drop it there if that’s an option.

Actually in Ballarat this weekend and been wanting a strega for years. It's like a sign. If only the wife would see it the same way..... Did get a new grinder a few days ago though, making negotiations a bit harder lol [emoji17]

Yeah it is. I hit chris up about it ages ago saying I wanted it when he was done then Decided against it. Then Watched too many YouTube videos on it over the week and jumped.

At the price it was a great deal. Never get another for that price direct I don’t think. My first shot was a gusher! Second shot was beautiful. So many variables to play with tho!

I bought it direct from Barazi the Australian importer. Yeah KK posting is the one who first made me look at the Strega!

I've only had it a few days and I don't know why I waited so long to upgrade. My wife asked me this morning if I put honey in her coffee. Since she doesn't use sugar either that was a pretty big statement. I had to convince her that it was only coffee and milk. I have never had better coffee!
