I'm looking for a dead single group espresso machine for experimental purposes. Ideally it will have a dead / missing controller and have been used as motor / pump donor for another, I'm looking to replace the controls and the motor / pump with a new design.

Needs to be larger format (at least 300mm wide) not a slim / piccolo / junior type in order to fit the new motor / pump / control scheme.

External group (E61 or similar) preferred, will pay up to $1k for the right machine.

Can pick up anywhere in Melbourne or close to the Hume in VIC (I travel up to Beechworth regularly).

Hello Lyrebird, I have available this Bezzera machine,fully operational however,this model has external pump supply as it doesn’t have sufficient internal space. I’m up here in Wodonga if you’re interested.Cheers,Mick.

OK, thanks everyone. Courtesy of Aaronwood I've found a machine which looks to be a good crash test dummy for my dastardly schemes.
