Moderators, please mark as sold (to someone with too many levers) :-) Thanks for all the interest and PM's

The boiler fill works like most machines, once the level falls below the sensor probe, the pump kicks in to refill the boiler up to the probe again. Under normal usage, the pump kicks in for 3-4 secs every 2-3 shots . If someone wanted it plumbed only, i could convert it , then it would be silent boiler fill as the line pressure would fill the boiler

    Hi

    Rather unique machine :-)
If the tank and boiler are full then how often and how does the rotary pump cut in to fill the boiler from the tank?
Does it fill the boiler as soon as its water level drops? I'm used to my small Ponteveccio and LaPavoni where one just has has to make sure the boiler has some water in it.
One of the nice aspects of a classical level machine is that it is quiet.

    Mike

Let me know if you change your mind about only selling in Sydney. I’d pay to have it shipped to Perth. Beautiful machine.

I agree with you, Sam. It is an amazing opportunity for a lever aficionado to purchase a part of lever history melded into a contemporary machine.

I have been fortunate enough to have made shots with this machine. It has the same group as my Faema Lambro but heats to operating temperature much quicker because of the cartridge heaters installed in the top of the group.

It makes a great shot and is totally unique!

Wow...what a steal! If anyone is considering, I can vouch this Zodiachestrale makes great shots during my last visit to the levers 'Mecca' in NSW.

The PID-heated grouphead is a must-have for any modern lever IMO (I've always wanted to add one of those on mine).

!!!SOLD!!! - FS: Zodiaco Lever machine (SYD only)

After much thought, i have finally decided it's time to move on one of my project machines, just need the space and it's not getting used enough. It was originally an Orchestrale Nota , but i have mounted a Faema Zodiac lever group to it, and fitted group cartridge heaters (PID controlled) to speed up the warm up time (about 1/2 hour).

It needs to go to a loving home, and someone who understands it is not a stock standard machine. In light of this, i am only selling local so the buyer can get it serviced/repaired by me if needed . I have used it for a year without issue . The group was fully rebuilt

    A few things to note;

    - Tank operation only, the low water alarm is not working, i have removed it. I have never ran out of water
    - The machine still has the original gauges, because it is a lever group now, the brew pressure gauge is for show only
    - Has a rotary pump for refilling the boiler, but like all Nota, it is noisy
    - Has wooden side panels (insulated)

Happy for inspections, located in Rozelle. Looking for $1650
