  • !!!SOLD!!! - FS: Lelit PL60T Dual Boiler

    Hi all

Selling my trusty Lelit PL60T Dual Boiler - model number on the label is PL60PLUST. It's about 6 years old (manufactured 14/12/2012, I bought it in 2013 from Jet Black Espresso).

Asking price $500. Pick up from Glebe NSW.

Serviced about 2 years ago, so due for another service.

No issues, except the group head drips a little when extracting, and some of the screws underneath the machine are corroded.

Lovely little machine, has been used to make 2 coffees a day at most. Great first machine, or for the studio or holiday house?

Cosmetically nice - a few scratches commensurate with age, mostly on the draining tray. There is a small patch or scratches near the brew knob. I have no idea how that got there, but it's not too noticeable, and it doesn't affect the performance of the machine at all. I was only able to upload five photos for this listing, but happy to send more, just ask.

Comes with one portafilter, a double filter basket and a blind filter. Unfortunately I seem to have lost the single basket that originally came with the machine.

Update: I can't seem to edit the original post anymore, but I have a lot more photos available at this link:

Thanks to Nick who asked for a photo of the internals - I opened the top and discovered there is some corrosion of the contact points on the top of the brew boiler, and the brew boiler itself looks a bit worse for wear (photo in the link). Pointing this out in the interests of full disclosure.

Does anyone know how I can edit my original post? I want to reduce the asking price and add some more information, but I don't seem to be able to edit any more...?

You can't edit it, just add revisions in the comments like you've done.

                        Thanks level3ninja

OK, so thanks to a helpful coffesnob (thanks Nick) I have come to understand that the machine probably needs some work. There's some corrosion on the contact points at the top of the brew boiler, and the brew boiler itself seems to be corroded, especially at the top. I am definitely no expert, I'm just describing what I can see - photos here:

So I am reducing my asking price to $300. Prefer to sell to someone who can pick up from Glebe, or I can deliver if you live nearby.

                        Any takers?

Is this still available? If so are you willing to ship it?
