Yeah, from reading a few US forum reviews it is physically the same device, just a different shell. The instructions are absolutely identical with buttons/functions.

Probably comes out of the same factory.

Yes, it would be interesting to see the quality and design up-close. Now that the Lunar is on sale for around $309 it's not that far off the mark anyhow.

Thanks, not really planning on using the app so not big issue for me, but good to know.

I have a set of Brewista smart scales but find them a bit flaky and in manual mode the buttons are a bit small to press when under a cup on the machine for weighing the shot as it is run. The Brewista when in the auto modes is re-taring or losing the timer sometimes in the middle of a shot. For now I will go back to manual mode on the Brewista but I find the button a bit small/fiddliy as I like to start the timer after the 8 second pre-infusion finishes on the Rocket.

How is anyone else faring with the Brewista scales?

The lunar scale is really good but the app connectivity is a gimmick so if you are buying for that I’d just go for the cheaper one

Looking for a used set of Acaia Lunar scales will to pay $150-$200. I can see them online for just over $300 new but hoping to find someone who is not using a set and save some cash.

Also looking for decent brand metal dosing funnel to suit 58mm portafilter willing to pay around $30.

I have some items for sale on another thread so willing to trade/part trade Pesado precision baskets/ BH tamper for the above if ppl are interested.
