!!SOLD!! Gaggia Classic w/ Silvia Wand, $200

Hey all,

Ive just got a great deal on a brand new Silvia, so my Gaggia Classic is up for sale. After a quick sale, as I need to pay for the new machine...

Its a great little machine I bought 2nd hand around a month ago - it was a few years old, but hardly used & in excellent condition. I cleaned the shower screen & filters, and descaled & backwashed it before use, and its been backwashed every week since. Ill clean the showerscreen & filters again before selling.

Ive upgraded the steam wand to the Rancilio Silvia version, purchased from CS sponsor Di Bartoli.

Im including:
- Gaggia Classic espresso machine
- Gaggia portafilter w/ single & double spouts
- Gaggia single & double filter baskets
- Original Gaggia manual, plastic tamper & scoop
- New replacement group gasket (thanks to a generous CS member!)
- Original Gaggia steam wand & plastic froth enhancer attachment

Asking $200, located in Sydney, prefer pickup.

Hmm, Ive been screwed by the cheap supplier of the new Silvia - theyre blaming Moccopan for lack of stock.

So the Gaggia is still for sale, but only available mid-September.

It should be about 10kg, but I wont know exactly until its packed in a suitable box.

Ive had interest from people in Sydney who are willing to pick it up, so thats my first preference.

If its not sold to someone in Sydney, Andrew is next on the list, then Roger (based on order of post/PM).

Ill PM all interested parties & post here once I have a firm sale.

No, Im still waiting on my Silvia to arrive - should be this week.

My Silvia is finally arriving this week, so the Classic is available for pickup this weekend.
