!!SOURCED!!: Lux or Iberital Challenge Grinder

I am after a second hand Lux Grinder. Sadly I cant afford a new one (student here), and have decided against going for something cheap that really doesnt do the job. Am willing to pay postage (Im in QLD).

Hopefully someone can help because I am desperate for a grinder after reading everyones comments re stale coffee.

Charlotte, if you cannot find one and dont want to spend a heap of money get yourself a turkish coffee grinder. They are made of brass and have very good burrs for coffee grinding. They are also pretty quick at grinding the amount of coffee you want.

The last time I looked they were about $60 and are readily bought off the net (not evilbay). I used one for a long time while saving for my MDF grinder.

The other good handgrinder I know of is Baccarat, but for the life of me I cannot find it on the net. If you are interested I know where they are available in Adelaide and can give you contact details or send one to you. These are about $30-$40 and will do a good job too.

Oh, thank you Lucinda! Do you have any pics so i can see what they look like? This will certainly be a good option if the Lux doesnt work out.

hey DS, I think I might have a Lux kicking around at home feeling a bit lonely. Im away at the moment but will have a look when I get back to Sydney on the weekend.

WANTED: Iberital Challenge Doseless Grinder

I have another post requesting a Lux grinder floating around, but I am also looking at the iberital challenge. It has been pointed out to me that this is a great grinder.

If anyone has one of these in good condition that they no longer use, I may like to snap it up rather than get a new one (unless i have to!)

Yes, ignore me LOL. Im just so keen to have fresh coffee rather than stale ground coffee now that I know what im missing out on I shall be patient
