The doser on Rocky isnt too flash unfortunately but this one looks to be the goods,

If youd prefer a doser grinder, Mal is on the money with his suggestion. The LaSpaziale junior does work! It sweeps very clean and the dose is adjustable unlike the rocky. Its the only doser grinder Id consider under $600. The price is in the Rocky ballpark...

I have a rocky doserless and a mazzer mini. I find both messy - Im sure those with perfect technique will suggest they dont spill a grind with the mini - but for me a doser does not solve the mess issue.

With the doserless rocky I now grind directly into a duralex shot glass. The outside diameter of the glass is about 57mm, so you can then invert into the basket, tap to settle, remove glass, tamp, lock and pull. For me this is the cleanest regime Ive found with the rocky, and as an added bonus I find that grinding directly into the glass allows me better control of dose. Works for me.

The only thing I could suggest and if your budget can stretch to $300 is a Gaggia MDF. The only mess they make is the one you make when you get the shakes loading th PF.

Should suit your set up very well. Not a rocky but will do a very good job for your Sylvia.

I ended up buying an 8 month old Compak K3 Elite (Platinum) for $350!  Its had 4 months home use until the owner decided to get a espresso machine with a built in grinder(?). Its spent the last 4 months in its original box.
Just waiting for it to arrive.

(Need to start selling my accumulation of espresso machines (4), other than the Silvia, to make room)
