Im looking for a second hand burr grinder for about $200. I was thinking older Rockys, Iberitals, ect. Also interested in Sunbeam EM0480s at a reasonable price. Im on the NSW/VIC border so PM me with any offers or ideas!

You could buy a new SB grinder for down as low as $160.00 mate, new machine with good warranty. You wont get many Rockys for too much less than $300 though mate, they hold their value provided theyve been looked after.

Im pretty sure several members have quoted this sort of price paid after a bit of bargaining at places like "The Good Guys", "Bing Lee" and several others..... Got to encourage em to sharpen the pencils to a very fine point ,

Have you looked at the Ascaso i-Mini too? Seems a very decent grinder for the price and one of the site sponsors might be able to help you? Although a bit more than youd like to pay, money on a grinder is money well spent.

Within 12 hours of posting, Im buying a second hand EM0480 from a Melbourne Snob.

Just to answer your question on cheap Sunbeams Dan, the EM0450 is the plastic bodied version of the 0480 and can easily be obtained for $150 (new).
