LOL. No, not exactly a pub raffle but I did win it in a recent Vittoria comp but I have to part with it for personal reasons and the fact that I do not have the bench space. ALso with my limited coffee skills I certainly wouldnt do this beautiful machine justice. ;D
So if anyone out there would like to buy this beautiful baby, give me a yell.

Yeah, I would tend to agree with Lucina, remodel the kitchen around the coffee machine like the rest of us would.

I looked at these when they came up for auction on that site after the last comp... one per state had quite a few available. The obvious secret for those wanting one is not to enter the comp at all, but to wait for those who win to pass them on

How would this compare to Vibiemme Domobar Super & ECM Giotto class machines? The E98 group doesnt have pre-infusion like the E61 machines. Is this a problem? Any other advantages/disadvantages over those other machines?

I feel bad for saying this, not knowing the personal reasons you referred to and all, but......

DONT SELL HER...IF THERE IS ANY WAY AT ALL YOU CAN AVOID IT.... you MUST!

I say this because I once won a HUGE plasma screen. At the time these things were still "house deposit" price...and I was driving a $500 ute. I couldnt justify watching a TV that was worth 10 x more than my car...or so I thought!

I was convinced into keeping it- even though it made no sense to me at the time. Now Im sooo glad I did... (ahh...the footy on this big thing....and my kids get see Murray Wiggles head at the size of a fit-ball!!).
Anyway, thats my 2 cents...it sure is nice!..and I too agree with Lucinda.

HI All, Ive just bought one of these machines. Im noob at this and am learning to use it... it is very different to my previous little Krups.  But so far I love it and it definitely looks like a serious coffee machine on my kitchen bench.  Would like to keep contact with whoever buys it to swap notes on use.  I believe it is very similar if not the same as La Cimbali Junior. Chalk and cheese....youre talking domestic vs a plumbed in commercial machine. Id take the latter any day of the week. Even if I had to remodel my kitchen....luckily I dont!
