I didnt think this was going to happen just yet, but thanks to Chris at Barazi, I have finally entered the league of heat-exchanger machines. 8-)
Im not going to pretend that the machine is as-new. The machine I have for sale has been in use practically everyday since I got it in 1997. In that time it has had one major service (back in 2003) and I replaced the o-ring last year.
Since I joined coffeesnobs in 2005, it has been regularly cleaned and back-flushed.
The condition for its age is fairly good. It has some surface rust on the base plate of the machine and, as can be seen in the pic, the group handle has some gaffer tape because the handle is cracked. The grille tray has lost some of its shine and the plastic piece supporting that grill has a small crack. The plastic tray itself is in very good condition.
It still makes a good coffee and still froths milk. (It was last used this morning).
The base Ive had since the 80s and its still in very reasonable nic.

Machine base with knock drawer
Portafilter with single and double baskets.
Rubber disk for back-flushing
Gaggia plastic tamper and measuring spoon
Machine handbook.
For someone who wants a machine for the shed,holiday home, car boot, or for someone who wants to enter the espresso machine world for not much financial damage, this might be appropriate.
At this price, pick up is preferred.
