**FOUND** Wanted Hottop Model D

Hi,

I am looking for a mad scientist coffee roasting project and want to base it on the Hottop chassis. Seems easier than converting an oven.

What I require is a Hottop doesnt matter if the electronics is faulty so long as the elements and the basic mechanics are in good working order. So basically it doesnt matter what model it is. Small dings and scratches are fine too.

Price range depending on state of repair $4-600.

No harm in trying mate but I think Ive only seen one, maybe two of these for sale 2nd-Hand in all the years Ive been a member of CoffeeSnobs...

Thereve been three that I recall, one of which was onsold a couple of years later, and there were a few back in 05/06. So yeah, they dont come up that often but you never know what may come out of the woodwork now youve put the word out! Good luck!

Thought it was worth a try I seem to remember seeing one a couple of months ago from emory. If not I might talk to Santa in a couple of months about a new one then have a play

FOUND lurking in Sydney 8-) Pending final arrangements Found one Model D only being used by dino on Sunday Mornings Time to break out the Mad Scientist Glasses and slide rule.
