Could there be a glitch with PayPal? I paid on Sunday via PayPal but it didnt come up as paid under Previous Orders until yesterday... It says "Shipped" now though so I cant wait to get my hands on those beans tomorrow!
    Very unlikely Id suggest Beanmeister....

As I understand, Andy reconciles PayPal payments manually....Its probably taken him a day or two to get to you! Im sure its a very busy time of packing and shipping for what is essentially a one-man show!

Well my excuse is that I got so excited and didnt notice the pick up option. It was so frantic at 1 when the server was obviously getting hammered - I was just happy to get some beans.

    Yeah Dom, you missed it.

At the checkout there was an option for pickup at "St Ali this Sat 7th ,10am" or from Di Bartoli on the 14th. You can still come even though your beans are being freighted... and St Ali is well worth a visit if you have never been there. We have about 14 CSrs so far heading there on Saturday.

Pedders? Nice idea. A few more trips like that and I might have to

I reckon with a few loads like that Andy sould be able to convince Pedders to sign up as a site sponsor. . .

bwahahaha ... sorry, I cant help laughing at the picture.
Surely beats a boot full of pizza when we ordered 30+ for our office delivery.
Hopefully the suspension can hold it.
Thanks a lot for all the effort Andy, very much appreciated

Bean update... (and a bank whinge)

All the CSrs that paid with PayPal... your beans shipped yesterday and should be arriving at most homes today.

I assume most CSrs paid by direct deposit on sunday when they left BeanBay checkout... (here is the whinge) BLOODY BANKS.  For some strange reason even though peoples bank accounts are debited instantly the banks dont shuffle the $ until the next working day, then they wait another before clearing the funds into the CoffeeSnobs account.

After midnight last night (errr... 1am today) there were none, zero, zippo payments in the account.  This morning there were 35 odd... and get this... all dated yesterday.  Cheeky buggers.

So all the payments that have cleared have been packed and shipped, you should get them tomorrow (or in the case of Darwin and Perth the day after).

I expect the same to happen tonight, no new payments in the account and as if by magic tomorrow they will all appear dated today.

Anyway... whinge over, the good news is most people should get their beans this week in Express Post Satchels, Melbourne courier deliveries prob on Thursday arvo, Melb cafe day on Saturday and the Sydney cafe day the following Saturday (although your beans might be available before the day).

The other good news a postage one.  The 5kg Express Post satchels had a price rise last month to $16.70ea.  How is that good news?  Well thanks to the site sponsor monthly payments we can continue to sell them for $15.00ea.

Woo Hoo, three cheers for the site sponsors!

...and as we add more sponsors we should be able to continue to bring the price of freight down.

    Enjoy your roasting CSrs.

    A.

The moth was released unroasted after it informed me that it was an International Roast drinker. I could not in good conscience allow it anywhere near my beans at that point.

Unfortunatly due to the strict importation and inter-state transportation laws you will have to provide your own moths. This will also ensure that your moths are as fresh as possible. ;D

Java "Flying towards the light" phile
But I want bogon moths..... Yum peanut butter (they are served in some specialty restaurants in Canberra....)

Only available on the East Coast...... Western Australian moths just dont "cut" it (the coffee that is ;D)

I see illicit moth trading coming up!

Andy when are you starting the Moth Bay??

I named that moth Serendipity the bloody thin landed on my coffee bench while I was roasting last night - damn fine specimen and placid enough to pose for photos.

But did it roast up well?
