    Too much stock Wushoes?

Some CS would call that level "severely depleted" ;D ;D

I too hope this surprise BeanBay is a one off. I dont have plans for doing this again in the near future.

CS Brown? That part of the software is still in progress. The shipping options for mixed green and brown orders is tough to get right. With any luck it will be good for the next BB.

Thanks Andy - thought you might spring it on us so have been coming on fairly regularly... hope this is not going to be the norm from now on though? a good way to get hits on the site, but pretty high maintenance for us addicts ;D

It was great to start this beanbay with massive quantities so at 7:45 the next day I still had all the options.

For anyone who cares, I got a bit carried away:

    Ethiopian Harrar Naturals 5.00kg
    Indian Monsooned Peaberry A 2.50kg
Brazil Monte Carmelo sun dried 2.50kg
Peru (Villa Rica) Grace Estate 2.50kg

I am aware that this does not constitute "carried away" for some CSers!!

Ive been waiting for the Ethiopian for ages now, so am very happy.

P.S. I didnt see and CS Brown, or I would have bought some!

Interesting bean bay. I have way too much green @ home. 5 kg of Mysore Nuggets, 2kg of Yirg, about 2kg worth of my starter pack, 2kg of Mandheling and about 200grams of Cuban. Might sit this one out.

Also have to finish some roasted Yirg from Jasper and Rwandan from St Ali

I finally get to see a Peaberry!
Plus ordered the Peru as another staple SO alongside my Eth Yirg.
Im as bad shopping for beans online as for biscuits in stores. One of these, two of those, no four of those, put those back, go overboard, underboard, get some chocolate instead? :-/
I might have to make a green-bean timer, when the beans stop dropping, its time to process the order.

Going to share this with my father who I am slowly converting into Fresh Coffee rather than the manky old stale beans he usually puts into his Auto Saeco machine.
I use a Saeco Auto at work and with home roasted beans you can get a pretty good coffee out of it. Grind fine, dose up, short double shots produces a coffee equal or better than most local cafes can manage.

Manky beans are good for compost.

Tonight is one night that I am glad I am suffering from insomnia. I couldnt believe my luck when I saw the beanbay email. Of course my wife may not be so impressed when I tell her tomorrow that we are getting 5kg of greens.

    Good job Andy.

Ill get some threads up in the BeanBay banter area to talk about where, when, who and what the pickups will be.

I expect I can ship into all the pickup spots before the 28th April (if everyone pays promptly so as not to hold up their local pickup)

You guys can best pick a date and time that suits.

Ive been debating calling Hazbean, but will wake up early in the morning and give him a call before he and Mrs Hazbean leave for the market.

With any luck this calmer, mellow midnight BeanBay means that there are plenty of beans for everyone over the next 24 hours as they find that its "on".

Glad it was smooth for all
