Andy, did you say you were off on a holiday this weekend??? If so , have a good time and rest up ready for the next bean bay.
not quite... Saturday was Veneziano delivery pickup point, Sunday Aroma, monday & tuesday here and then... woo hoo.... Wednesday away for 5 days with the family. Looking forward to the short break too, thanks!

All the interstate pickup orders (that were paid for) will freight monday morning and we will post the tracking numbers into the state threads.

If the payment status shows "payment pending" then you were way to slow to pay for beans that were ordered on Wednesday and there is a fair chance that your order will sit here till some point in the future.

WOW!   Have just tried some of the Puerto Rican, and am amazed!  Only roasted this afternoon, and I know I really should rest it, but hell - I NEEDED to try it!  If it only gets better from here then I can see why it attracts such a premium

Glad they got there promptly Ray! They freighted Friday so must have moved north over the weekend to get delivery today. Great stuff Aussie Post!

I was in the same boat as you Sheepie, the first shot was when the beans were still warm from the cooling tray (I often do that!) and I can tell you that at about day 3 they are even more stunning. While the initial price per kilo seems high it works out to about 0.75c per cup so it really isnt that nasty on the hip pocket compared to some random stale cafe coffee blend.
(well thats how I justify my own purchases anyway)

Just a quick note to let you know my beans arrived here in perth this morning (8.00am!). That is super fast, thanks Andy. With my starter pack which arrived last monday I now have a nice little stash that will keep me happy and allow me to practice my roasting skills. When I get this roasting caper sussed and feel confident, I will go for one of the ultra premium beans. Anyway thanks again Andy what a sterling job you do.
            Cheers

                  Patience Grasshopper,

All shall be revealed in good time, when the moon is at its height in the dusk of Winter, the wind turns from the West and hearkens the onset of Spring.....

In other words, when Andy returns from his Northern sojourn, catches up with his family, sorts out the usual messes that confronts one when youve been out of the office for a few days, finds time to relax for a day or two and then in his "spare time", starts pulling the next BeanBay together.

                  Simple really,
                  Mal.

So, Mal, after consulting some calenders, fishing tide tables and weather forecasts, that would be August 22?    ;D ;D

You guys really pride yourselves on not giving too much away then, hey...

I guess it just adds to the excitement and anticipation of it all, Ill try another question then; Is there something of extreme interest amongst it then?

Something to tantalise the tastebuds, maybe? Hmmmmmm?

                        Ray.

It was a cancelation of an order... stock went back in... the chocolate went in an instant (I was going to keep that too!).
