What happened? At precisely 9.00pm the screen froze for a full minute. When it returned, there were 7 kg of Bali left! Quite unprecedented here.

    Anyone else had problems?

Yeah, Robusto. A bit of freezing, a few glitches for the first 30 secs or so. Then smooth sailing after that.

Possibly something to do with the size of this months offering?

I dont generally get on well with computers, but have an agreement with mine come Bean Bay time - DONT YOU DARE STUFF UP MY BEAN BAY!!! >

And it didnt (after a bit of a stutter). There there, computer... good computer.

Thanks, Andy. Great selection and organisation, once again.

Wow a couple of surprises there!! XD

Got my Yemen!! [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] some African drinking chocolate (that sure went quick!) and some Kenya A, which I really enjoyed from CTB (thanks Andy!)

Awesome Beanbay Andy! It went really smoothly. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

        Thanks Andy.

Great fun! Loved the adrenalin with all those extra choices. Ordered up on the triple chocolate, a double Ethiopian and some decaf.

And some advice for things that sell out... Keep an eye out in case anybody removes items from their basket. I noticed the African Red sold out fairly quickly, but then went back up to 1kg for a while, leaving an open opportunity for the astute bargain hunter.

Phew! My first beanbay for a while and I almost forgot. I only wanted some African Chocolate but by then time I remembered it was all gone. But am happy with the Orange chocolate.

Some Harar also sneaked its way into my basket. My other half who is winging his way home tonight is in for a surprise (given I said I wasnt getting it!).

          What an interesting selection tonight.

Yeah when I refreshed the screen just before 9 my time a lot of stuff had vanished whereas before my refresh the bay was still empty.

No dramas though cause I got the chocolates I was after.

Hey Andy, you sure like to surprise us.
Couldnt believe all the extra unannounced beans.
I wasnt going to buy anything this BB but couldnt help myself and ended up buying some Yemen.
Im in for a treat by all accounts.

                    Thanks Andy!

Re: GREEN BeanBay - Wednesday 19th March.

I got the choc and Orange Choc, Keep the other half happy as she does not drink coffee. I know I know

Also got some Decaf, Aceh, Eth Sidamo and Mth Top Peaberry. This will certainly keep me going for a bit. (at least til next beanbay) he he

Pay Day tomorrow Andy so will Transfer Money Thursday. Small glitch at the start but only frozen for about 20 secs. Then all good after that.

Wanted some Yemen but still a bit pricey for me. Save some more pennies for maybe next time.

                      Thanks Andy, Great Job

Re: GREEN BeanBay - Wednesday 19th March.

Firstly... sorry for not being about when BeanBay kicked-off, I had "watchers" to keep and eye on it but I was at an AASCA meeting, 80km from home.  I have just finished the meeting and have driven to the Snobbery (which is where I am now) to get some roasts out before Easter.

Andy if I get my coffee delivered will it come after easter? Because I get it delivered to where I work.
                        After Easter, yes.

At precisely 9.00pm  the screen froze for a full minute.  When it returned, there were 7 kg of Bali left!  Quite unprecedented here.
Well considering that we only sell in 2.5s I guess it was 7.5kg of Bali and that might have been all there was!!!

Andy, I think Bean Bays are  great and run smoothly...But Im not sure about the surprise additions.
Any reason why the full list is not mailed out?

Mostly because I choose not to!
...and because people will winge that they missed out on something that we only had 10 kg of.  It would be silly to tell everyone we have Bali if there is only 10kg as 4 CSrs at most would actually get it.
Trust me, I do "stuff" for a reason.

Andy, as posted before, i have bought Remys chocolate for her... but i have no idea where she lives, so you may have to change the delivery location... i just picked one
Send me an email and we will sort this off-line.
In future if people are going to buy for someone else then please just get their logon details and you can buy as that person.  That way our address labels and behind the scene process works as it should.  Manual steps in the process are always the ones that give us the most grief and take the most time.

Ive been waiting for sooooo long for the African Drinking chocolate and its SOLD OUT.

Please tell me there is more next month....PPLLEEAASSSEEEEE
yet last time I had to buy the last 8kg and give it away to friends!  Its hard to pick.  You can buy it from Grounded Pleasures website but it will cost you $19.50 odd.  There might be some more next month?!?!  Use the "Wish List" area of the website and see if you can generate enough interest to get more, if there is then we will get some for sure.
The other thing that might happen is someone might not pay for theirs and it will go back into the "pot".

                        [hr]

There were quite a few small lots of beans, 10kg here, 20kg there... as sort of stocktake sale that I hope most people just took as the fun surprise it was.

To those that got great beans, well packed, at a great price with exceptional service, without labour charges and were happy...

                        Enjoy!

...anyway... Im due back on the roaster.

Thanks too Greg for the tip off,.. I was getting ready to head out the door without checking back on the forum.
Tut tut. Confucious say... "She who leave home without checking her post, will spend next month drinking International Roast"

                              Or something like that.
Phrrt!! ack... sadly.. I drank International Roast for yearrrrs. Im surprised my tastebuds recovered from such long term abuse.

I wanted this Drinking Chocolate badly because my three children are really enjoying their thick foamy hot chocs every morning to start their day and I have to say,. this simple little hot choc routine on school mornings has made so much difference. They wake up while quietly drinking hot chocs and by the time they are finished digging the last of the marshmallows and foam out of their mugs,.. theyre awake,,lol. School mornings have been fantastic since doing this,.. no arguing,.none of the usual madness,.. then they just leave the kitchen bench and get ready without fuss...very bizarre and I dont want this to change. Ive been promising them the good stuff for about 6 weeks, ...ok so the Orange jaffa choc is mainly for moi : .

                                Thanks Andy

I feel Ive got enough Greens at moment but could not resist all the hype about the Yemen so I got a load of that, even though very pricey.

But noticed the Mountain Top selling for big dollars... wasnt brave enough for that. What makes this such an pricey bean?

Thanks again   all bought and paid for

                                Robert

ps I will read threads about raosting the Yemen before I try
