I missed one last July when I was on holidays in the Great Central Desert, I was in panic mode until next bay, I think I made it with 1.1kg left, whew it was a close one -- but something I definately could do without!!!!
I did an audit last night at have 10.2kg at the moment!!

Well if you know they will probably run a little over time, get your order in at 9pm should only take 2 minutes then go pick her up.  Ring ahead and pre warn if possible also that you will be 10 mins late in picking her up.

Trust me you dont want to miss a beanbay, I did once and was nearly put in an institution that month due to the depression I went through ;D

NNNNOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I just realised I have to pick up my daughter from work at 9pm! Ill be 6k from my computer at the start of BeanBay whaaaaaaahhh ::pathetic sobbing sounds::,...and depending on how busy they were in the last half hour before close,.. they might be running late (more often than not) and its highly possible it could even be 10ish before I get back home. This is disastrous!!

Ive been waiting all this time for the drinking chocolate too

    I just want;
1kg of African Red Drinking Chocolate, and
1kg of Orange Spiced Drinking Chocolate

Ill be spewin if its all gone when I get back!

I wonder,.. if it looks like its running out fast can someone reply to my post and maybe add them to their order?? oh I dunno that wont work.. cos everyone will want to jump in as quickly as possible and would already have ordered...aaargh.

I wonder how her boss would feel if I just ran into the cafe and dragged her out to the car screamin BeanBay! BeanBay! weve gotta run!!!!

the green beans are all in 2.5kg lots packed in cotton bags.
I noticed that the bags have changed last BeanBay,  Are the new ones going to be with the ties attached as I like this better.  I usually throw the metal ties out as I dont really like them, but the material ties already attached are great.

Very funny first post Javanation, welcome to the mad house CoffeeSnobs.

theres no real limit as such, apart from buying in 2.5Kg lots (the smallest we do).
    Which reminds me to mention...
The two teas and the three chocolates are all in 1kg bags and as Mal posted, the green beans are all in 2.5kg lots packed in cotton bags.

Thanks Mal, sounds good! Im still in the process of trying to taste test all the different origins I can, so small quantities are best for me. Looking forward to tomorrow night!
    Regards, Rob

    Gday Rob,

No mate, theres no real limit as such, apart from buying in 2.5Kg lots (the smallest we do). With really highly regarded and much sought after beans like the Yemen though, it pays to get in quick because itll probably be all gone within a few minutes and I guess a bit of fellow member consideration doesnt go astray in this situation.

    All the best,
    Mal.

A quick protocol question: Do we have an agreeable limit on how much we order, so as to allow as many as possible to buy? I havent done a beanbay before and dont want to commit some terrible oops! Rob
