We were out to dinner last night for my mothers birthday (which is today).
As BeanBay time approached I excused myself.
    Just got home in time.
I didnt want to miss that chocolate.
Dont let anyone tell you youre not a coffee snob. Well done! too funny!

I just got back from the dinner we had tonight for my sisters birthday(which is today),.. but we can rest easy knowing that 20th March falls on a Friday next year,. so even less chance of celebrating on a Wed/Beanbay nght. Phew!

I made 6 coffees on my mothers Sunbeam Cafe Crema tonight for some of the guests but OMG it was awful to use compared to the 6910. I made mine and my mothers last, but they were the best phrrrt as I got used to it. That steam wand sheesh rediculous. I love my machine. :-* :-*

TG--youre a legend, it must take you ages to decide which bean to roast today or even more so, which beans to put in a blend today!!!
"Where the hell do you store them all?", my wife would make life very difficult if I had a stash like that to warehouse!!

Re: GREEN BeanBay - Wednesday 19th March.

I keep them in my very large garage.

I regularly roast the Kimel (30+kg left).
Dont blend often; still enjoying them all as SOs.
Finding time to roast the other beans is the problem as I roast a lot of the Kimel for friends.
I managed some Monsooned Malabar a few weeks ago which I finally put aside for 2 weeks before opening and am just finishing it off now.

Have just got the corretto up and running.
Did my second batch this morning and am very pleased with it.
The first batch was too quick.
The profile on this one was near perfect; just need to get it into my cooler quicker.

I was tempted this months BeanBay to get some more Yemen Bani Ismail.
Not because my stash is getting low but my wife loved it when I bought it in November so now Ill have to make sure I have some on hand at all times.

Wow, how on earth did you end up getting 30+kg of Kimel? It is an awesome bean though.

I started with 60kg and roasted a bit of it.  ;D

CS keeps me supplied with many other different varieties to try.
I currently have 27 different ones but have been trying to whittle down to my favourites and trying the occasional different one from BeanBay.

Thats how my wife discovered she loves the Yemen Bani Ismail after I decided to try it to see what all the fuss was about.
Trust her to like the expensive one.

The spiced hot chocolate is just sensational Andy! Might have to go have another one...

Yes it is, Im not sure its something I would drink all the time (love my coffee too much) but one every now and then is stunning. Tastebuds "go nuts". Close your eyes and you could be in the Swiss Alps looking across snow capped mountains with a steaming mug of spiced chocolate cupped in your hands.

Nearly makes me want to yodel

                                8-)
