Im just hoping to get some grace estate and sulawesi. some tiger mountain or png would go astray either. Id also love to try the ethiopian. Need somma that chocolate too. Hmm...may as well complete the collection with some of that matadi lol. If I keep up with this every month Ill probably end up resorting to buy a diedrich and a roasting business to get through them all lol.

Oh Carp (and crap), BB time and yesterday I used up the last of my monthly ADSL quota before it rolls over to the next month tomorrow :

Now throttled and on dialup speed.........that will be more interesting than usual then.
Maybe attach 2 mice to the computer and press buttons like a crazy man and see what happens

thanks everyone for the additional info regarding the Indian Tiger Mountain and comparison to the Monsooned Malabar. Yes, it is the low acidity that I appreciate in a bean and in the Malabar in particular. Im still well stocked up with Yirg but I might give the Tiger Mountain a try.

hey everyone, what is the process for the beanbay ?

from what i understand it looks like you add what you want to the basket and then we are emailed an invoice and then have the option of paying credit card via paypal or bank transfer ?

i need a heads-up, i heard it gets rough in there, just go easy on me ok ;D
might have to get the pregnant woman outfit on so i dont get knocked over in the rush

I have to agree re the splendor though I am biased one has sat on my bench now for heading towards 4 years. As for the Luigi if you look at the specs placard on a Mazzer you will find they say Mazzer Luigi SRL on them.

Aite, there seems to be a consensus that the Peruvian bean is easy on beginners. Will order em tonight.

    Thanks for the feedback.
The PNG and India Tiger Mountain are not especially difficult either "ezra" and also make wonderful brews.... 8-)

    Mal.

Those looking for a beginners bean, either the Ethiopian which is a fantastic bean to roast or the PNG.

Both of these I highly recommend for a starter bean.

..as well as the Peru - very even roasting and LOUD cracks, no mistaking when you hit FC and SC.

(BTW Linda - love your avatar. The Unico Splendor has to be (IMVHO) the most beautiful looking machine around and I get a thrill whenever I see that pic. Also, whats a "Luigi" MM?)
