Good grief, there are still lots of amazing beans left! After ordering 20kg+ last month, we vowed not to purchase any this time... we ended up getting some Limmu and some Decaf but drew the line at that.

But man.... its getting really hard to resist buying some of those Panama and PNG beans... and the Nicaraguan, for that matter.

    Must resist...

    Cheers
    Stuart.

Im not getting any beans this month, even though there is still plenty left.My 120 litre plastic container that I keep them in is approaching 3/4 full mark.

The cost of beans I agree has bean quite good I think, considering months ago we all thought the price was gonna go sky high. Also it was reported that Mc Ds had bought all the Yemen for the next few years, but there was some available in July. So I think Andy does a great job with price and quality of beans.

Just joining the chorus with a heartfelt thanks to Andy and his efforts in providing us with a great selection at a great price.

Looking forward to my first central american bean roast and also to trying a different ethiopian bean!

I manage to get most of the beans I wanted today but missed out on the Brazilian. Somebody had a faster click than me. I think it was sold out 10-15sec after the opening
Ive got to start training my fingers Rocky style for the next bean bay. Watch out! ;D ;D

Coles online $34.32 for unknown origin beans, prob not traded fairly, certainly not orgainic, roasted overseas and packed when stale so the bags dont explode.

The great thing is they have a 3 year odd use-by date so you know there are fresh.

    Enjoy!

    Hi all

The wiki was good for bean descriptions but it seems busted at the moment with run time errors when you try to login to update it.

Yes very civilised today. My first beanbay for quite a few months ... seeings the stocks were likely to dip below the 30kg mark sometime in the next month or two!!

Picked up some of the PNG Jiwaka ...

Thought I would see what was left at a quarter to five, just before knock off time and couldnt believe the amount of green beans left. 2pm bean bay doesnt work for me, as when at work I actually have to work!
Wanted some Limmu as my No2 son is rather partial to them. Figured that if they were still there when I arrived home, I was meant to have them. Theres still some left now. Very civilized.
Also picked up some decaf too, after reading Andys notes about this batch being a bit easier to roast.
Looking forward to meeting the guys at Veneziano even though its a bit of a problem for me to get there as I have no transport when up in Brisbane, and public transport to West End from Milton isnt flash.
(I work just up the road from Gilkatho which has been very convenient to date.)
Thanks Andy for another great Bean Bay with a great selection of beans.

    Cheers,
    Alan

    Hello All !
The prices have gone up a little on bean bay this month !
The prices have been around this mark for a few months now. Maybe the farmers are getting more, cost of production has gone up, and fuel for the cargo vessels has gone up too!
