Its going to be good to have "first crack" for a change. I was getting used to the sold out sign by the time I get home.

Managed to give birth successfully last night!!!!  (not personally but I was there)

So double bonus as Coffeesnobs is blocked at work and now having another baby ... I might just make the 2pm window.

Given that this is blocked at work now I cant vote for a daylight start time ... maybe alternative months would work well????

          Michael,
Dont know if this is of any use, but my work blocks
          http://www.coffeesnobs.com.au
          but DOES NOT block
          http://coffeesnobs.com.au

They use a product here called Websense for filtering and blocking.
For some reason, the full URL comes up in the category "Malicious Web Sites". No idea why.

          Brett.

Depending on how they filter it,
go through this list of proxys at http://www.freeproxy.ru/en/free_proxy/cgi-proxy.htm until you find one that works.

May or may not work, and some of them can use cookies etc... so you would be able to log in and purchase beans.

                http://www.freeproxy.ru/en/free_proxy/cgi-proxy.htm
is blocked at my workplace ;-)

Baldryk - nobs appears in both versions, so I dont think thats it.

hmmm... I have no idea why we would be blocked (apart from the obvious non-productivity issues)

It could be the Perl (.pl) that your local sys-admin didnt like.

                  Does:
                  http://beanbay.coffeesnobs.com.au
                  work ok?

                    Yep.
Beanbay even works with the www in front.

The (basic) tests I have done with the coffeesnobs.com.au/... pages suggest that
                    coffeesnobs.com.au/...
                    work fine, but
                    www.coffeesnobs.com.au/...
                    are blocked.

The fact that the filtering reason says Malicious Web Sites makes me wonder if it somehow got flagged onto a server somewhere and this filtering product just blindly accepts it. A bit like SpamCop.

Just a thought on the blocking it wouldnt be the coffee hits counter as I know Explorer (yes I know its junk) blocks it and the geolocation site off this one?

                      Anyway bring on the beans

Very strange. I spent ages wandering around Websense(less?) and cannot find a look-up or a test for anyone that isnt their product user so I have emailed the local office to see why/what/how.

I dont know of us ever being on a Malicious Web Sites list.

Brett, if you bump into your "local network admin dude" I would be very curious to know why. It might just be local to you and not the actual websense database.

Its a cookie blocking phishing thing to do with the level of insecurity I have set CS doesnt come up as restricted but the other two I mentioned do?

I can see the pictures of the beans didnt link in BeanBay... sorry.
Ill fix that when the dust settles.
