Pictures just slow down the refresh rate Seems to have been a few less on than the night time bay last month but a lot more beans so some took 5 minutes to sell out instead of 3 :
Hope those that couldnt make it this afternoon stil have a few to choose from
Dont know how much extra work for Andy (in his no doubt excess spare time) it might be but maybe a day offering and then a second offering that night? Two mawlings fighting for bags of beans has to be more fun than 1 ;D
Nice work again with the spread of offerings. Time to try a blend or 2 with this months pickups I think.
In a post somewhere, I remember a comment about the very large range of beans available on beanbay. Not in any one beanbay, but over the course of time.
How true! I love Ethiopians, and just this year Ive accumulated some Harar Longberry, Yirgacheffe, Gambella sundried, and have just snaffled some Limmu (didnt need it, but ...). Other sellers Ive used might only stock one type of Ethiopian, in a range that remains fairly static. Long live Beanbay!
Out of curiosity, does anyone have any stats for the total number of different bean origins offered on beanbays? I suspect the number would be impressive.
Andy,
I have ordered 5 kg in total, is there room in the satchel for about 10-20 coffee bags (250gm)?. If so, ill place another order and transfer.
Cheers.
James.

Sadly no. The satchels are already just over the weight (cotton bags and ties add come to 100g odd on top of the beans) and if we put any more in they get sent back (and it will cost you an additional $15 in freight).
At different points around the country Australia Post weigh the satchels and reject the over weight ones.
this really sucks. Lots of beans and I have been BANNED from buying more. Trying to justify the stash is hard enough when it is sitting over 20kg and what makes it worse is I would love at least 4 of the beans on beanbay
