Here in the west - beans nearly all collected, except for Fish2h20, snavedivad and Michael, please PM me to organise collection.

Had a enjoyable morning chat, great to meet other home roasters and taste their roasts. Learnt a great deal, thegoodies, greenman, Kaffine and runfast were a great resource. Hopefully greenman wont post the photos

Now its time to do some roasting now that the BM is working again!

See you all next month 8-)

Coffees all delivered and, I must say, James cafe and coffee making skills at Real Coffee were both superb! If no one objects, I think Ill make the regular meeting spot for deliveries. Definitely a lot more civilised than outside Red Rooster!

It was lovely to meet both Intellidepth and Scarey and pick their brains and share experiences.

Thank you Andy, James, Intellidepth and Scarey - a very pleasant two hours indeed!

    Cheers
    Di

Picked up my stash of green beans from Coffee Parts yesterday, thanks to Pedro and Co. great service. Great to have a chat to about the latest thoughts on machines. "Ill be back !" as some Californian Governor used to say.

Hi all WACS,  looking forward to meeting ye all. Im happy to supply cake and the venue, but as I havent managed to get my corretto working yet (need serious help!) what about you bringing a few of your home roast beans to brew through my VBM, just enough for yourself is fine. We can discuss on Sat things that we can do in the future. If anyone is having problems getting to the meet this Saturday or does not know my address please PM me.

Newcastle beans have definitely arrived - only 2 other orders other than mine this month (bit different to the 9 last time!)

Is anyone else intending on just coming to Real Coffee for a coffee and chat, or is it just the three of us?

    Cheers
    Di

FYI to all Melbournians picking up at Veneziano this saturday. First pour will be shut, so come caffeinated. :-[

Id suggest popping around to another well known establishment nearby, but by the looks of the competitor list, its top talent may also be on the Gold Coast.
