Yay, thanks Andy  [smiley=vrolijk_26.gif] ,

I picked up my green beans from the lovely folk at Coffee Parts on my way home this afternoon.  Im very lucky that they are halfway between home and work, so have been giving way to temptation and picked up a few goodies (tamper, milk jug etc) since "discovering" them in January.

I have just realised now though, that I didnt get my brown beans      They had a list which they checked off as they gave me each bag of green beans so I guess the brown beans werent on it.  Should they have been there too?  Ill  phone them on Monday to see if they have them.

Anyway, thanks again Andy, Im off now to test the new chimney/chaff collector on my popper   .

The beans arrived today. If you are going away you can pick your beans up tonight after 6pm. Otherwise pick up tomorrow/Sat between 10 and 12pm.
PM me if you cant make it so we can arrange another time to collect.

Hi All Newie CSers. James (Real Coffee) advises that the beans and other goodies have well and truly arrived, so if you havent yet collected them, hes open tomorrow or during the week.

(Go over the bridge at Maitland, heading towards Patterson and hes about 600 metres on the right hand side in a little group of shops).

Im going to be there at about 10.30am, if anyone wants to join me for a Latte and a chat.

If you are coming, just be warned! Not only does James make great coffees, but hes got a huge amount of equipment, accessories, fresh roasted coffee and specialty teas!

Must really get around to getting my Starter pack. I have "only" ordered about 50+kg of Green in 6 months apart from that :

The roasting thing is addictive ans so is collecting different types of beans incase you cant get them for a while you need a stash, just as well they keep for a year or two

Oh CC2 I remember the day I got my Starter Pack and believe me I was just like you, and it wasnt that long ago. I think most will agree that there is a level of satisfaction from roasting your own beans them enjoy the fruits, or acids if thats your flavour, of your labour

I just got my green beans starter pack - was so excited to get it till I realised I am stuck at work and I want to play!!!! Maybe I should chuck a sickie for the rest of the day (and maybe tomorrow) hehe

Yeah, this is the bean that we hope will carry through the month so home roasters looking for some beans in the next couple of weeks can still get some.... I hope you left some for others.

I wasnt gunna buy any green this month as I have plenty left over from previous months.

But when I saw the Wahgi I just had to get some. I know my pathetic roasting efforts wont yeild as nice a cup as I got when I bought this bean already roasted....but hey its worth a shot  

Paid for yesterday. Arrived first thing this morning. Roasted first batch 20 minutes later. Fingers crossed
