Mine just turned up  8-) Should have seen the truck pull up the wacker had forgotton to close the latch on the the door on a 10 ton truck, slows to a halt and it swings open toward the row of parked cars and misses them all Just lucky my beans didnt fall out

Last 4 or 5 roasts tonight with the Hottop before controller mods commence. Dog bowl and spoon on standby or see how much brown I can buy in Melbourne in a couple of weeks :

Roasting schedule 1 Wahgi, 1 Torajah and 2 Yemen plus a 478 and an Indian TM and a Harrar...... Mmm Maybe shutting my shop early tonight to start early

Sounds like the dodgy courier that was delivering to Tanya & Anthony is now your local guy beanflying... and his brother got a job with Australia Post and delivered Doug81s beans "close but not quite" to the address on the sticker. Ah, the joys of freight.

Luckily most of the 100s of shipments each month go exactly to where they should, when they should!
    8-)

Got my Yemen today, although it was actually delivered Friday, just to a neighbours address instead of me, and they only caught me at home today! the size of the bean is very striking, so tiny! Good so far, but a little on the weak side, am adjusting my grind and dose settings to get the most out of it, time will tell if it outdoes the harrar! On a side note, I also had my Kopi Luwak delivered today from Pioneer Coffee, so its going to be a fun week at my place ;D

Thank you so much Andy for the fantastically prompt delivery of our BeanBay order.
     We do aim to please!
Those that pay via PayPal tend to get the order the quickest as the payment is instant and the beans ship the following morning, sadly the banks take a couple of days to clear the payment but we try really hard to ensure all orders are shipped the same day we see payments.

I need achest pocket for my glasses case
I like polos with pockets too but it was a little tricky to get them this time round.  We need to get the shirts made with the pockets seperate, get the pocket embroided then get the pockets sewn onto the shirt.  Its a lot of extra handling and prob some extra expense but we might do that in the future.

We have a couple of other ideas in the pipeline for the future too.

;DThank you so much Andy for the fantastically prompt delivery of our BeanBay order. We received it here in the boonies of NSW on Friday. CONGRATULATIONS... the Snob Wear is fantastic, and yes it is made in Australia. Bless you Andy. So many colours to choose from. Sadly I had to give mine to the Missus to wear as being a short sighted old wrinkly CSer I need a chest pocket for my glasses case. Any chance of at least one colour having a chest pocket on the left side? Would be great to be able to wear a coffeesnobs.com.au polo with pride as we do our coffee crawls. Herbie.

can i solve this by sending an email to Andy?
No, but you could annoy him doing that!

Please read this thread from the start, way more than you ever wanted/needed to know about email in it.

Im sorry that some people didnt get their email.  We sent 7300+ emails and some (read: SOME) didnt get there.  Plenty of people did get their email and BeanBay was busy on Wednesday night.

Once again I am sorry, very sorry you didnt get it.

We are working on another contact method so...

    No more email discussion please.

(It would be more productive for me to fix the issue then to continue to talk about what happened)

i logged on today, just to see what was going on, and found i missed another BeanBay email.
my email addie is with bigpond and is still correct in my user profile, so i guess gmail/yahoo issues dont apply.
Andys email address is in my Outlook address book, so Outlook has a record of CS.
CS is not on my "blocked " list, and Andys email is in my "safe sender" list; my spam filter is set to "low", and most other things get through, so why not CS??

i missed out on the first BB email when i was running Nortons 08 (after previously having received all BB emails without a hitch), failed to get the second one after updating to Norton 360 and now the third one whilst running AGV.
can i solve this by sending an email to Andy? or to who/what ever is sending the bulk emails re: BB?

We have just "closed" the pickup point freight options in BeanBay as we are packing all the interstate courier boxes now.

Any interstate pickup point roasted orders will be roasted tomorrow night and snuck into the boxes for shipping first thing Monday morning.

Of course, the express post satchels delivery method is still (and always) available through the month.

I have read Roasted Passion the Phil Di Bella Storey and I recommend anyone get on there and support the Victorian Fire victims. The story is great, with romance, determination, poor boy makes it and all good ingredients for a great read.
A friend described it as a walk down Brisbanes Memory lane as many of us first came across Mr Di Bella for the first time as the poor buggar who served us great coffee in the Brunswick Street Mall. We just didntknow it was great back then.
I am pleased that he survived us and went on to live his passion. We all now benefit.

    Felici means Happy..

I still get spam through but my server marks it as possible spam. It doesnt block it until I tell it to. I would never block the Snobs emails.
