Thats a great idea Simon.  

A good chance for you and others to swap some shots while getting beans.

Simon started hosting bean pickup last month and it was huge success, it was great catching up with fellow snobs for a taste of their roasting skills and comparing notes on all things coffee, along with the cake that Sue provided it was an enjoyable few hours. Unfortunately I cant make it this month but I will be back next month raring to go, enjoy the morning west coast CSers!!

I planned to pickup from Veneziano in Melbourne some time today, I have no idea what time would be best. I was looking for the pickup time in the threads but couldnt find anything. Does anyone know?

Between 10:30 and 11:30 is the official pickup time.
If you go into Beanbay and look at your previous orders, you can check the details of your current invoice. You should also have an e-mail copy of it. These mention the delivery method. In this case, pickup venue and time.

The Veneziano pickup went well this morning.  Its always great to have a face to face chat with fellow CSrs. Sorry if anyone had to wait for their beans, sometime (ok, most times)I get yabbering about coffee and forget there is a queue.  It the one time a month that you can talk about coffee for 3 hours without eyes glazing over.

I look forward to catching most of you at Wicked Sunday in a couple of weeks where we can can make some smoke and chaff mess too!

They certainly were, thanks Andy for all the effort you put into this process. I must say that was an absolutely superb choice for a pick up point. I had never been there before, it blew me away, the beans, talent (best piccolos i have had in years) , the people, and the atmosphere was perfect. I ended up spending 4 hours there and then had to drag myself away.

I would like some Decaf Mocha Java. And I would like it sent to Cuppacoffee pick up point whenever your next delivery is... even if it has to wait to March Bean Bay delivery.

Can you work out that option for me please?

Well still act as a pick up point, though while the builders are working on the shop any orders will be sent to my home address and can be picked up from there. You might even get a sneak preview of the Elektra and the new counter.

Im sure there will be a cuppacoffee option at the greenbay checkout.
