Re: BeanBay Monthly Sale - Saturday 16th May 2009
Yep I had a package waiting for me at home this arvo. No greens for me this time, not roasting at the moment, but 500g of espresso Wow (roasted 2 days ago) 1kg of drinking chocolate (couldnt decide which 500g of both) and 500g green pearl tea. Excellent service as always Andy.
PS. How long should I let Espresso Wow rest before I pop it open and begin drinking?

Re: BeanBay Monthly Sale - Saturday 16th May 2009
Most of the Bean Bay beans have now shipped.
All the PayPal payments came through instantly and those beans shipped on Monday, most would have been delivered today.
The banks dont transfer money on a Monday so the weekend EFTs came through this morning and we freighted everything out nice and early. Those orders should be appearing around the country tomorrow.
The pickup point shipping options are now "closed" in BeanBay and those orders will be packed and will freight tomorrow and Thursday (on schedule!) and I will drive the Melbourne ones up to Veneziano on Saturday.
Dont forget you can see the current status of your order in BeanBay under the "Previous Orders" tab and if your email address is correct then you will get an email when the order ships.
Enjoy!

By the way bf, "finca" is Spanish for farm and not the name of the property that grew the coffee.... :POriginally posted by 787F7B747C766373747D1A0 link=1242307178/50#50 date=1242715994followed by the Finca I thinka :

Re: BeanBay Monthly Sale - Saturday 16th May 2009
Im hoping that we can get some more of the Peru too, I have only limited stocks at the Snobbery for roasted orders and Im sure there are a few others here that will take some.
Mostly CSrs had a choice of beans for 45 minutes so the volume was about correct. Currently we still have some of the Nicaraguan in stock (but not much).
Next months beans are already en-route, the ship (I have been told) should dock soon so with any luck the route through AQIS is smooth and we have the next BB sorted.
I want to try something too... after I turn-off the pickup points this month I will set them-up for the following month. That way they are always visable and should make it a little more obvious for CSrs looking them between BB times. The only gotcha will be if we have a late BB we wont make the actual scheduled pickup date... we can manage that though (I hope!)
Anyhows... twas a nice smooth BB and we will start getting the beans out to everyone ASAP.
