    Re: CoffeeSnobs Freight.

    It wasnt me.

This browser at work does silly things with CS.

I cant see pictures and cant quote.
I have no idea what it did that time.
After I hit post it came up with an "Error on Page" message.

Trust you to catch it before I had a chance to correct it. :P

      This browser at work
Its done on purpose so that you use the internet for work rather than play.

Maybe you should offer to let her sample your roasted coffee.
I think Id have to be careful asking a female neighbour in for coffee, especially if my fiancee was home!!!

Id have thought it would be a problem only if she wasnt home.

Awesome! I keen for cheaper freight. I usually get beans delivered to our delivery point as Alistair is only a 10 minute drive away. Im assuming that stuff ordered during the rest of the month (when its not bean by time) will also have the courier option?

Ive just updated my address to my work one. Ive actually recently started getting most stuff I buy online delivered to work. Its so annoying to get home and have to wait until the next day to go to the PO to pick stuff up! :-)

Keep in mind that the pickup point freight is already heavily subsidised (eg: we pay for half the Tassie freight) and no courier option will ever be that cheap, but larger volumes of beans should be cheaper than Express Post.

Yes, when it goes live it will be always there, you will see how much each different option will cost for your given order weight. The freight calculation is way too complicated to explain here (15,000 postcode zones which tie to freight codes which dont include the fuel surcharge, GST or premium area costs...), but the good news is that BeanBay will handle that.

Some areas of the country will be cheaper than others, eg: Darwin has a whopping surcharge on all air freight so express post will still be cheaper.

I know! I had that myself yesterday when a registered post item arrived home and I (very curiously) had to wait till today to findout what it was.

                8-)

Haha. Im glad Im not coding that! Ive written a couple of online booking / application systems at work now. They always start out simple but always get really complicated by the time they do everything they need to! :-P So have fun!

I knew it was subsided, but didnt realise it was that much! Thankyou sponsors! :-)

                    Re: CoffeeSnobs Freight.

Work deliveries are a challenge for me - I have two jobs with up to seven different workplaces which vary from day to day in an irregular manner. Or I could be at home! To receive this way Id need to know with total certainty which day it would be delivered, and whether am or pm ... from my experience with couriers this might be optimistic.

Thats why it will be fantastic to have such a good choice of options - something to suit everyone. If I can still use PO box or pickup point Im happy.

Good service indeed! Most other online suppliers Ive used seem to offer only one shipping method on a like it or lump it basis.
