What happened to the "new" shipping option, I was waiting to see price and try that out thinking it was cheaper than Aust Post?

In the future the option might be there.

We are looking at a new courier option that will get beans around the country faster, with better tracking and potentialy an even cheaper price when they see our volumes over a couple of month period.
"We are looking" was the key.

Ok, it was in the BB email so perhaps I mislead myself then

            --
So if you can get beans delivered to your workplace please change your address in BeanBay (under user details).
            --

Thought that meant like now, not later.

Thanks Andy, too many good coffee to pick from I had a huge dilemma on where to allocate the available resources :-/

Well Andy, thanks for an amazing bean bay! The best surprise was when i got home at 8.40pm and there was a surpise 15kg of sidamo!!! I just couldnt resist getting 4 bags of that -- price was awesome too!! I was actually planning on getting on the wishing well and requesting sidamo. so woot!!!!

And thanks to Al for ordering on my behalf since I wasnt able to be behind a computer at the right time.

Now to wait for my heavy heavy beans to arrive :-)

                      Andy,
Thanks for hosting a fantastic "bean off". Although I feel slightly guilty in getting exactly what I wanted (mainly because, although Im a long time coffee fanatic, Ive only just joined "coffeesnobs"), those feelings wont last beyond the first crack.
                      cheers,
                      Andrew

                        Hi all

Thanks Andy for another fine choice of beans. But where has all the fun gone? There is still lots left. The PNG went fast but the rest went very slowly. I miss the fun of seeing nearly all the stock dissappearing as I hit reload and the CSers bemoaning that they didnt click fast enough :-)

                        Mike

                          You stirrer!
Dont worry, I got plenty of grief for the Wahgi even though I posted that we had more on the way well before BB kicked-off.

Yes, we ordered a huge amount of everything so that "most" people would get a choice and those that had commitments tonight should still have beans available when they got home.

Nah, dont feel guilty, just enjoy!

Glad everyone had fun and got some good beans. We hope to carry a better stock of beans between BeanBayGREEN sales so that those that need a top-up of a bean can do so.

                            I managed to restrain myself.
I *only* have around 10-12kg at home, but I havent even tried roasting two of the beans, and only roasted one of the others for the first time tonight.
I feel I am still learning how to roast and taste properly and might as well do that with a limited variety than confuse myself with a lot of different tastes.
And i dont know how you all afford to buy nn Kg each month

I had to attend my daughters CPA presentation ceremony when beanbay started and I thought I would miss out on the Sulawesi Tana Torajah Kalosi but at 9.45pm I got a pleasant surprise to discover it was still available, yesss the gods have been kind to me.
                              ;D ;D ;D ;D
