Re: BeanBay Green Sale - Dec 7th 2009

Ahh comment on the Yunnan - did not like it at all in the pour-over but quite enjoyed it as an espresso. It is one of the first coffees that I have found that has radical differences on each method. Usually Ill like a in one form and love it in another but the Yunnan is an espresso beast for me. It may be the wet hull processing.

The Tanzanian coffee is a Christmas present-and-a-half!

My deepest thanks to all who made it happen. :-*

Here are some pictures that Louise took for us before the AQIS inspection and customs clearances.

(Ill get them all in the FairCrack threads too when I get a chance)

                1. The crate arrives on the CMG Charcot (via singapore where container on the Passat Spring changed ships)

                2. "Ta Da" The beans are there. 11 bags, 660kg of Rononis finest production yet.

                3. A close-up of the Rononi bag. From Kilimanjaro with love.

                4. Close-up of the beans.

                8-)

We have available the first crop of Tanzanian Rononi coffee that was processed on the pulpers that the CoffeeSnobs community funded through our FairCrack scheme.
And with that sentence read off my iphone as I clock in to work, my promise to not buy any more beans for 2009 vanished in a puff of chaff.

Any specific time tomorrow afternoon Andy?

Is it too early to keep hitting F5 in bean bay?

                              Slightly

If Andy has landed over 600kg of the Tanzanian and says it will be rationed, I doubt you will miss out.
