scored some robusta and monsoon, this could be an interesting journey, was tempted by the png elephant but already have 3 other pngs on the go - and the bf disagreed about 2 bags anyway so held back, hope i dont regret doing so...

Was gonna buy the USB data logger a couple of days ago but decided to wait until tonightSad- bugger, all sold out.  

We are getting more soon, the supplier is slow sending them.  I guess a week or so and they should be available in BeanBay again.

As a consolation I decided to buy a kilo of JBM ... Wink ... roughly the same price - the missus will never know  

You better hope she doesnt grind it all away dialing in the grinder.

Great selection ... again!!!

Im hoping therell be some left later in the week after my pay goes in, and then Ill order with direct shipment and get it as a standalone. Ill keep my fingers crossed it lasts that long.

I think you should be fine Di, there is a limited market for green coffee at nearly $100/kg which is why we dont buy it often. I would guess it will take a couple of months to finish this batch.

Will be different scenery for a week (Wednesday to Wednesday) but still coffee related (of course!)

Thanks Andy - all ordered and paid for (two bags of the yummy sounding Zambian).

JBM went into the basket and my finger hovered over the Complete Order button, but then I really thought about the fact that that would leave a grand total of about $2.00 in my account until payday and with Pete being O/S at the moment, I havent even got his moolah as a fallback...

any coffees come out of the north of South Africa?

Not that I know of but they have the climate and some fertile ground so maybe it is grown there but only used for the local market?

Ooh ooh Zambia, close enough to Zimbabwe for me lol.

Is is the same sort of logic that Nicaragua is close enough to Costa Rica or Ethiopia is close enough to Kenya? :P

Not that theres anything wrong with any of the Zambia beans Ive tried but, Id really like to get my hands on some more Zimbabwe beans, the last lot Beanbay had were outstanding.

Apologies if this seems to be a silly question.

Im actually hoping to take part in the upcoming bean bay sale.

If I order through the site this evening, and elect to pick up, can I add other items from the Bean Bay store? Or is this limited to beanbay sale items only?

I was hoping to pick up some bags plus a coffeesnobs membership card to help as Im new to roasting

Yes you can order anything from bean bay to be collected at pick up
