When will we see more of the roasters?
In a couple of weeks, might be sooner, might be later.

as it has images of rolling the eyes and shaking the head at the same time.

As a matter of interest, is the Harar LB from that nice Mr Ogsadey at Blue Horse?

Ive had it occasionally from Fiori Coffee here in Perth. Good stuff: winey, lots of high notes and a bit funky.

No this isnt the funky blue horse... and "MAO" Ogsadey passed away a few years ago (better check how old the stock is at Fiori!)

Checked in sometime over the last few days in case I had missed the Greenbay email, and I hadnt.
Checked back today and find it was yesterday - no email.

Only thing I can think of is I didnt buy last month and an email didnt come in. Every month I buy I get the email the following month. Coincidence or not? Will have to wait til the next time to find out.

Going in now to see what I can get.

            Cheers
            Greg.P

Nope, I have received the notification email even when I didnt buy the previous month. Check your email address in your CS profile and check your spam folder if you have one.

Th CS Toolbar will give you alerts as well.

Murphys Law insists that the notification will always be sent the day you dont check. Still, plenty of beans are still available.

Ah, I didnt know that - but it was a few years ago that I last had it. Good stuff, though.

I was tempted by the Mysore, but decided to pass this month - my over-large stash of green beans is getting me in trouble with my wife...  :P

Trust my enthusiasm - I place an order a mere 20 hours before the BeanBay email goes out. Nothing major Im after this time around anyway - maybe next time

My plan is to buy a couple of different beans during each Green Sale from this one forward so that when i start roasting properly in a few months ive got a decent selection of beans to work with.
Just be careful not to end up like me - I still dont have a decent roast setup (I cant believe how hard it is to find a second-hand breadmaker these days), and now have just short of 15kg to my name. :

                            Haha
Im planning on getting a Behmor when theyre next in stock (although i may not use it until we move at some stage in the next 6 months).

My plan with the beans is to limit myself to 2.5kgs of two different beans each month so that i spread the cost out and then by the time ive got a setup im comfortable with, ill have 7-8 varieties of beans and a plentiful supply (25kgs or so) to experiment with.

No doubt i need to set myself a limit in terms of how many greens i can have at any one time, just not sure what that limit should be.

Probably not the most sound of strategies (and im open to suggestions) given we only go through about 1-1.5kgs of browns a month but im just so excited about getting into roasting (and these Green Sales) and couldnt resist starting the process now.

Annnd tonights order makes my hoard to somewhere between 60 and 70kg I think. First time Ive managed to get a whagi order in. Score for a restaurant with 3g reception! :d
