    BeanBay GREEN sale - 12th July 2010

    BeanBay GREEN BEAN sale

    Monday 12th July

2000 QLD, ACT, NSW, VIC, TAS (8pm)
    1930 SA, NT
    1800 WA
    http://beanbay.coffeesnobs.com.au

The beans available at the above date/times will be:

India Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold $10/kg*
It has been a while since we sourced a worthy crop of Mysore Nuggets.  Sure, its a name that would make schoolboys giggle but its actually a really great coffee.  Mild with a huge body and lots of sweetness makes this a great single origin and also perfect as an espresso base for some wilder flavours.  For me this works best at the start of second crack at a CS9 roast depth.

    Ugandan Masaba AA $9.50/kg*
A new arrival of this great Ugandan coffee.  Large screen, nice processing and produces plenty of chaff while roasting. Mid bodied and full of cocoa at CS9/10, lighter body and brighter at CS8/9 and both roast styles blended together produce a really interesting single origin blend.

    PNG Wahgi AA $11/kg*
We have just landed the latest crop from PNG.  Large screen and well washed and sorted beans that roast really easily  and work well in a range of roasting devices and roasting styles. Bright and acidic at CS8, Sweet at CS9, full of cocoa at CS10 roast depths.  This is easily my favourite PNG bean.

    Ethiopia Harrar $10.50/kg*
Really nice grading for a dry processed coffee and as soon as you open the roasted bag you get hit with the fruity berry aromas that Harar is famous for.  Light in body as an espresso but with a tighter pour it will become a heavier shot.  Dont worry about a slotchy coloured roast, dry processed beans do that and it will still taste great in the cup.

    Australia MTC D10-107 Honey $27/kg*
Once again this Australian coffee sets the bar for just how good a product this country can produce.  Semi Washed and perfectly graded this special microlot produces a sweet mid palate espresso with good body.  Similar to our prvious limited microlot but more bias on the body.  If only all Aussie coffee was this good!

    * Prices include a $0.50/kg FairCrack donation.  All beans are packed in 2.5kg natural unbleached cotton bags which are perfect for storing your beans in.

We hope to get beans to all the pickup points by:
    24/7/2010 (maybe earlier)

This delivery date is a best guess as we are often at the whim of couriers around the country.  Generally when the beans arrive at the pickup point someone will post in this thread to let you know the time/date that you should meet for the pickup.

Feel free to discuss pickup point pickups and plan the social get togethers (eg: who is bringing cake) in this thread.
