Picked up some Huehue and Limmu today from Caffeinefreak thank you CF).  I should say my husband picked them up, I didnt call in to see anyone as I would have spread my "lurgy" germs and I doubt anyone would thank me for that.  

Will catch up next time.

Got my daughters Snobby Chai from Veneziano this morning.....the only problem I ever had there was a mix up with some bags. And myself and other bloke were able to sort it out amongst ourselves. Id like to think that any missing stuff was merely the result of a mistake, but can understand your angst Andy. Any shortfsalls coming out of your pocket would be guaranteed to cause a rethink of the pick up option.

A shame if it has to go but can understand you having to make such a call.

I picked up my Yirg and Mysores at Coffee Parts this morning. No coffee theives there. I also got some parts that i want to have even if I dont need them.

I picked mine up from Veneziano this afternoon. They were very thorough and asked for signature confirming the order was picked up. It would be a shame for them to not be a pick up point, just starting to get to know them. They make a smoking short black and are keen to help with any shot questions.

Veneziano QLD.

I have just heard from a CSr that he went to Veneziano West End today and picked up his order.

His Gambella and Harrar were missing. We know we sent the right amount of beans as the whole order was checked twice before packing and the courier boxes were check weighed before sending. We also know that all the consigned boxes arrived at Veneziano.

Either someone took extra beans home by accident, Venez lost a box even worse we have a thief.

This has happened every month for the last few months and I certainly cannot afford to keep replacing missing beans.

Sadly I think this is the last QLD pickup as it has become unworkable, expensive and consuming way too much of my life chasing problems.

If someone has taken too many beans home by accident please drop me an email and we will sort it out.

I can feel that this is going to be a very addictive hobby

Its a great hobby, the results will amaze you, your friends and family. Dont be surprised if you notice a lot more "saw the light on, thought I would drop in" visitors too.

I plan to pick up my BeanBay beans from Coffee Parts at 10am FRIDAY 27th.

Anyone else likely to be there for a coffee chat?

Andy sent the beans off last Thursday so they should have plenty of time to get there.

Do any Sydney Snobs meet together to chat about coffee while collecting at either of the pickup points?  

There are 3 in Sydney (CKSYD in Kellyville, Cuppacoffee and Coffeeparts ) The first 2 are pretty socal and often have a few CSrs get together for a chat and a coffee... and Pedro at Coffeeparts is always up for a chat.

Let the locals know in this thread which pickup you are going to and when you are planning on going there and you just might make it a more social event.
