I selected The Coffee Barun pickup point in SA
Go into My Previous orders in the BeanBay section. If you check your most recent invoice (if you have more than one) it will show you what shipping method you selected.

If it shows as Coffee Barun, you might want to slip Andy an email saying that your order was delivered to your home

Found my beans behind the rubbish bins in my car port this arvo, dont know when it arrived and didnt select or pay for courier.

I selected The Coffee Barun pickup point in SA.

Not unhappy, the beans are dry despite the rain last night and today, and I get them quicker without paying extra. Only down side is I miss out on lunch and coffee at Marks when I pick up.

    Cheers

Looks like your going to have to settle for cow and buffalo poo Andy, pretty similar. http://www.plantecnepal.com/main.php?action=growning

Everyone who had camped beside a river knows the best and cleanest water is upstream...
Unless theres a village upstream, dumping their you know what in the river.

Received my BB order this morning (nice one Andy, thanx for that). Roasted a batch of the Nicaraguan La Bendicion COE 2010 this afternoon. A big bean as per the notes. Roasting profile seemed similiar to PNG, looks good, smells good, nice even roast to about CS9, just into 2nd crack. [smiley=happy.gif]

Resisted the temptation and slipped it straight into a bag, sealed it, and will rest it for 3 days or so.

    Andy

I received my BB order today and have already done a roast of the snow water washed shade grown/organic/sundried green beans from the Himalayas. The Nepal Plantec Estate.

I couldn’t wait for it to degas before having a taste. Straight out of the roaster it is a little earthy, possibly the yak poo showing through. There was a very pleasant after taste that lingered on. I will try it again after a couple of days.

I have closed all the interstate pickup options in BeanBay except Victoria (as I drive that one there myself)

The pickup point orders will be packed and will freight today and tomorrow. Someone will post in this thread when they arrive and are ready to collect.

    Enjoy!

Im interested in your "Yirgachefe" reference
The ref to the Yirg was more about the huge grind aroma and lighter body. Shots a freind and I had tonight were pulled much tighter and yielded better body than in my first roasting/testing of this. Its a pretty bold coffee and great as a doppio espresso. Im sure we will see some great feedback on this one.

    snow water washed eh?
Everyone who had camped beside a river knows the best and cleanest water is upstream... Everest is pretty much upstream of everywhere and I expect the water would be pretty good at the farm.
