Haiti Grand Cru de Beaumont looks good and tastes great straight from my roaster
Sheeze, you two dont muck around. I could still touch both those orders at 5pm last night and less than 24 hours later they have travelled 1000km and been roasted.

    Nice!

...I also agree with trying any roasted coffee as soon as its cool enough to go in the grinder. Sure, it will improve over the coming few days but waiting is tough when a roast looks great!

    Enjoy.

    Doh,
the pickup points get taken off pretty quickly.
bummer... from a monetary point of view, but better from a the point of view that some harrar will be in my roaster much quicker.

Well Ive had deliveries from Andy that were so fast they had roasted beans in them.
Of course, it might have been due to the fact that I had ORDERED roasted beans, but nevertheless.. very fast.

Anwyay - I am reliably informed that my current order has arrived at home today. Many thanks to Andy and his support crew :-)

Malabar received and first batch already roasted, thanks for the ridiculously fast shipping!
Are you implying that the delivery was so quick that enough heat was generated (during re-entry?) to roast your order? ;D

I have received my order in Sydney today thanks to Andy, Paula and Aus. Post.

The Haiti Grand Cru de Beaumont looks good and tastes great straight from my roaster. It can only get better with a little time. I will try it again before putting it away to rest.

Well, Im halfway through the crazy 48 hours of the month.

Paula and I got all the PayPal orders out today (just) so they will be landing with most people via the couriers and AustPost tomorrow.

The bank transfers will appear in our account in the morning and we will do it all again!

I have closed-off all the pickup points so they can be packed tomorrow with the exception of Melbourne as that one wont ship till pickup day.

    Happy roasting!
    8-)

    Andy ,
I would like to try the Indian Monsoon Malabar and the Haiti beans , will they be suitable for cuppachino?
    Coffeemate,
As has been said here many times - Taste is subjective.
Given this is your first post, are you talking about roasting yourself?
    First roasting effort or not?

I have roasted numerous beans from this site over the years and I have yet to find an arabica that I did not like.
Some beans have been sublime, some outstanding, some very nice and some good, but always nice.

We only drink milk based usually and have developed our favourites over the years.

For every person who swears Monsoon Malabar is not right in milk, there will likely be another saying it is the best way to drink it.

Its really up to you. Get em, roast em, try em!

    Brett.

I tried to ignore this sale and  my son said  we  have too many beans  but had  to sample  the Haiti grand Cru and  filled the bag like grebe with  the red cocoa ...Yum

Thought I would try some of the Haitian and Monsoon this month which left 500g in the pack. The extra weight was filled nicely with some Cote dIvoire Red African Cocoa, so the non coffee drinkers are in for a treat.

    Thanks Andy.

I have just put in a late order and got what I wanted. The Haiti and Bolivian.

I have not been a fan of Monsoon. Going on what I read at this site, I may not have rested it long enough post roast.

    Thanks Andy.

Incidentally, can anyone enlighten me as to what the "T.C.T.L." on the Haiti label stands for? Just curious...
