Are there good quantities of the Kone Ka? Looks like the goods!
Yep, plenty, even more than you lot o bean-pigs can consume in a month!
(...he says with fingers firmly crossed)

We landed a lot of the Peaberry from the same estate too which shoud last for a month or two more.

    Tues 15th Jan
Some of the emails just left with the subject line of "Tues 15th Jan".

Oops, of course the date in the actual email and in this thread is the correct one
    Tues 15th Feb

Why is it always just after you hit the send button you see that stuff? Anyway, it was only some emails, the rest will have the correct date. -- sorry.

Monthly BeanBay GREEN Bean Sale - Tuesday 15th Feb 2011

    Monthly BeanBay GREEN Bean Sale

    Tuesday 15th Feb
8pm AEDT (East Coast Daylight Savings Time)

    7pm QLD
    8pm ACT, NSW, VIC, TAS
    7.30pm SA
    6.30pm NT
    5pm WA

The beans available at the above date/times will be:

    Brazil Bourbon Naturals $9/kg*
Sun dried, natural process yeilds far better body in the cup making this well graded Bourbon varietal perfect as a base to more exotic beans in blend or use as a single origin for a coffee that will remind you of many commercial offerings.

Sulawesi Toarco Jaya Triple Picked $13/kg*
This is maybe the best Tana Toraja coffee we have ever seen.  Its fully washed and not wet hulled like other indos but still retains the body.  Very clean processing, graded to large grade 1 beans and triple pick sorted for defects makes this a very pretty roast.  In the cup it is perfectly balanced with a clean finish. Simply a stunner.

    Malawi Nyika AA $11/kg*
is a catimor variety that is naturally resistant to pests and rust and allows the farmers to grow using totally organic methods.  Large bean, mid body with a flavour profile that is bold cocoa with a red wine acidic berry finish.

PNG Kone Ka Estate AA grade $12/kg*
I never thought we would find a better washed PNG than the Wahgi but we have just landed its replacement.  These come from the new Kone Ka Estate which is in the same area of PNG but they are producing an even cleaner, better graded AA bean.  Nice body as an espresso and in milk it becomes very sweet with a crisp finish.  Excellent single origin coffee.

Costa Rica San Marcos de Tarrazu Naranjo $14/kg*
That’s a mouthful in more ways than one.  Costa Rica is the country, San Marcos de Tarrazu is the town and these beans come from the Naranjo Estate (not to be confused with the town Naranjo also in the same area).  Great processing and well freighted in grainpro bags this Costa Rican coffee is blossom sweet with a crisp apple finish at a CS8 roast depth.  Perfect coffee for those that enjoy the brightness in a lighter roast.

    Kenya Kagongo Peaberry $20.50/kg*
Is a stunning coffee with near perfect processing.  As a green bean it has a sweet fruity aroma and those same florals leap from the grinder.  In the cup it produces a bright lifting espresso, add a splash of milk in a Macchiato to bring the sweetness out of the beans.

    * all coffee prices include a 50c/kg FairCrack donation and come in 2.5kg CoffeeSnobs cotton bags.
