Order is done, payment completed with Paypal. The system is just way too user friendly Mr Freeman.

Gonna be nice to be back in country to actually be able to participate in the full experience of the Monthly Beanbay, meeting up with the crew at the pick-up point.

The 10kg of green was just an excuse to socialise... hehe ;D

On top of being excited by the Kona, as i mentioned earlier, im really intrigued by the Flores Research Project beans.

Not only is the concept really interesting but the beans themselves, at least in the photo, look about as interesting a bean as ive seen.

Cant wait to roast it.

I would be one of the last CSers who need to add to their stash but the opportunity to participate in an effort to help a somewhat unknown coffee region is too good to pass up .

I must admit I did wonder how you kept the freight so low.
Silly me thought you must bribe the local postmaster.
Is this subsidization sustainable? Thats a different issue.

Yeah it is sustainable as long as everyone keeps supporting our site sponsors. Its their advertising payments that cover the overheads and subsidise freight which we have been doing for 6 years.

This was more a realignment as there have been 5 price rises in the last two years and freight math didnt go close to adding up!

**blush** Ah shucks. Its nice that people notice the service effort though.

considering how coffee price has doubled since last year I am amazed how you still manage to keep beanbay prices so reasonable.

Yeah, they will keep rolling upwards though. Most of the coffee that we sell was purchased 3-6 months prior so luckily the prices dont change during freight. The stronger AU$ is helping a little too but as the US$ drops value all the freight companies raise their prices to compensate and the farm pricing is getting higher at the same time. Its going to be an interesting yeah ahead.

Im packing orders as the moment, so some of you will be seeing "order shipped" emails... it cant really ship today but that translates to "order packed in a pile for pickup/freight on Monday".

The server was VERY slow at the bean bay sale time. I got on in seconds to get some Yemen pronto, as it usually disappears so fast. Yet it is 3 days later, and there is still Yemen left! What is the matter with the world?

I remembered at 5 past 8 and ran screaming toward the computer to bag some Yemen.  I cant believe that it has not sold out.

Thank you Andy, cant wait to sample this latest batch.  I now have quite a lot of people ordering through my recommendation and they are all seriously impressed. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

With the amount of Yemen that we landed (and have even more on the water too) there has to be a point where everyone who wants some has some.

Suits me, I can grab some more for me now!

Its been in the grinder at the Snobbery for most of the last week... amazing "gloop gloop" pours, wicked doppio shots.

Have had a couple of people in the last couple of days do 3 doubles in a row

...might be time to check my public liabilty policy to see if self inflicted overdose is covered.

My bean cupboard is so full that I had vowed to stay off beanbay for a long time.
But with both Yemen and Yirg still sitting there...I broke and bought a bag of each...even though I still have some of both in the cupboard.
I suppose you can never have too much of your favourites.
And with more Yemens rolling in over coming months that cupboard will be bulging!
