What time will you be at Fiefys?
The 1st Birthday celebrations are from 7pm till 9:30pm (although I expect maybe a little later than that too).

    Fiefys Specialty Cafe,
    45 Pirie Street
    Adelaide

There will be Fiefys Organic @ Origin and Barista Blend in the grinder along with some very special single origins  - Mountain Top Estate and Yemen Bani Ismail... and best of all the cash register will be turned off.

Free freight and free coffee... life is good eh!

You dont need to bring anything but if you want to bring a plate of nibbles along Im sure it wont go to waste.

I really dont NEED more beans at the moment but this looks like an opportunity too good to miss - and the beans likewise! - esp that Rwandan. What time will you be at Fiefys?

Monthly BeanBay GREEN Bean Release - 12th Feb 2012

    Monthly Green Bean BeanBay

    Sunday 12th Feb 2012
    20:00 AEDT

Im pretty sure the overly complicated daylight savings timezones translate to:

    8:00pm ACT, NSW, VIC, TAS
    7:30pm SA
    7:00pm QLD
    6:30pm NT
    5:00pm WA

The new beans that will appear in BeanBay at the above times are:

    Rwanda Cyarumbo.
This coffee hails from Southern Rwanda and is clean and well processed.
It is a high grown coffee and quite dense, I found it took a fair amount of early heat in the roast to get it to ramp like I expected to 1st crack.  I found this best at CS10 where the cocoa shone through and the acidity was tame.  I would liken this to a soft Kenyan in style, great coffee as an espresso or in milk. $11/kg*

    Ethiopia Limmu.
Super clean and easy to roast.  At a CS8 roast depth its lively in the cup with a light body but a big citrus tang in the finish.  While it was nice at a CS9 and the body improved I think this coffee is a standout at the lighter roast depths and would work well for pourover, drip, plunger and a whole host of brewing methods. $10.50/kg*

    Aceh Bitang Grade 1.
Wet hulled and loads of chaff even as a green bean this is easily one of the best Northern Indonesian coffees we have ever landed.  The body is huge, the coffee is fruity, spicy and plump and does this without the musty or dirty notes that can sometimes taint the wet hulled coffees. $13.50/kg*

    * price per kilo packed in 2.5kg CoffeeSnobs cotton bags and includes the FairCrack $0.50/kg donation.

You can select direct shipping via Australia Post (express or road) and Star Track Express (air or road) along with some other options depending on where you live. or you can collect your paid order from Morgan Street (when Im there).

This delivery date is a best guess as we are often at the whim of couriers around the country. Generally when the beans arrive at the pickup point someone will post in this thread to let you know the time/date that you should meet for the pickup.

Please dont annoy the pickup points by asking for your beans before they let you know in this thread they are available for collection.

    Enjoy!
