    Re: February BeanBay

    GOLD!!

More late night, last minute forums I reckon, keeps the riff raff out, and only those genuine coffeesnobs fans who check their e-mail every half hour in the loop....even my slow at home broadband could hack the pace!!

Thanks Andy, order placed and money transferred, should be in your bank account tomorrow.

    Cheers

      Re: February BeanBay

I feel soooo naughty; 10kgs of Yig and Sumatran!

How am I gonna stash 20kgs of green bean without being caught?

      Thanks Andy,

I did have one false star, got to checkout and my cart was empty, got it on the second go. I deducted the shipping charge because it didnt acknowledge Everton Park as a "Free" destination. Hope this is OK

Phew - that was close. My lappy died 2 days ago, I was punching in the network key on the replacement just minutes before launch. Supplies now back to a sustainable level.

Well done Andy and thanks again. Everytime those beans arrive I am amazed at the contribution individuals make for the benefit of members.

            Re: February BeanBay

Hey, Im a bit confused about the delivery situation. I live in metropolitan sydney, is there an option to pick it up from from oxford st for a dollar per kilo you order? If you just want it delivered approx how much does it cost per kilo?

            Sorry, totally new to this.

            Thanks

                  Re: February BeanBay

Bean a while since I bought some green, and wasnt going to this time either, as I still have a small mountain from my previous adventures in the polls. But the Nicaragua Maragogype SHG was just too tempting.

I added to my cart, but when I went to check-out I got a DB error, something about "touching my cart"

Tried to refresh a few times, in the end I had had to close browser, clear browser cache, then it let me go back into BeanBay, where I checked out, payed with PayPal and its all DONE.

Love the BeanBay. So easy, so simple, so much fun ;D

                    Re: February BeanBay

Got mine. Saw a few errors, ASP.net errors always remind me of my work ...

Now my bank wont let me in to Internet Banking to pay. Bugger.

The server performance was fine.... and we had 72 bean hounds in the Bay as well.
Yes, tis a new record for members online at one time and this is the first BeanBay for the new server. Im happy to say it did it with ease (which is just as well after the outlay on hardware at Christmas)

We also have miles of beans this month so it should be a little less of a frenzy I hope.

                        8-)

Got in and secured a few interesting looking specimens.

                          Cheers.

Hmmm... very strange. I just tested that and it worked fine. Selected the free option for QLD and it didnt charge for shipping. Maybe you are special?

Yes, there is a sponsored pickup point at Di Bartoli Coffee Center for $1 per kilo, (you will see the option on checkout).

If you want it shipped to your address then it goes via express post... 3kg satchel for $10, 5kg satchel for $15 (or whatever multiples of those it takes to pack your order).

Once again, the checkout process shows the shipping calculations for the beans you have ordered.
