Would be great to be able to pick them up tomorrow instead.
But Clipsal 500 is on and will prob make it impossible to get anywhere near Simply Coffee.
Unless I walk from town.
Other than that I can make it during a lunch time or just wait till next Sat at the prearranged time.

... and loading another bucket of green gold into the cauldron! This was also the first time Ive requested a bag of whatevers the freshest and have actually had it taken out with a scoop from the cooling pan in front of the roaster, to be presented with a still-warm sealed valved bag! I sampled the Ethiopian Limmu you see cooling in this photo; delicious to say the least!

I have just spoken to Peter and he has said that next week is still fine i people want to pick up their beans than or if you want to pick up during the week than the afternoon is preferable.

Let me know what others think.

I can easily wander down there during the week and pick up my beans.

I am happy to wait till the time we set last week, ie 11am-1pm on Sat the 10th or something like that.
I think they close at 1pm?
I think if we all wander in there seperately Peter may not be keen to do it again.

Yes, we plan to stick with the Saturday 10th pickup.

Lets hope the eastern suburbs are navigable again by then ...

Adelaide pickup has been completed.
Peter from Simply Coffee seemed to be happy to do it again next month which is great.
Thanks Peter its much appreciated.
It was nice to meet Lucinda and Hazbean (and Mrs Hazbean).

Now I need the weather to cool down so I can get roasting. ;D

It was great to meet you and your family Grey.

Luckily I roasted a wee bit of Bali Gunung yesterday so have some to tide me over until I can do a roast when the weasther cools down.

Looking forward to roasting up my Tiger mountain.

Yes it was good to meet and chat and sample some more of Peters coffees.

I took advantage of the cool weather a few days ago to roast up a stockpile,
but have now given half of it away so back to square one.

A good excuse to try some of the newly arrived Rwandan.

today has cooled down some so I have already bean out and done some roasting.
