I never got around to posting how great a pleasure it was the meet Mr and Mrs Hazbean and Lucinda on my visit to Adelaide. We had a very nice breakfast at Lucias in the markets. Thanks for taking the time to come out so early guys - always great to meet fellow snobs!

Hopefully in the next week I can get around to posting my blog account of the visit - with photos!

I am glad you guys have managed a local collection point as it really is fun to get together with other snobs and talk coffee.

And truly delightful to see a bucket load of Yirg coming out of
the Diedrich roaster. Peter definitely has a knack with this variety.

I second what Greg says in relation to Peter and Lucy. They are a great couple and very passionate about their coffee. They also have a fantastic range of coffee paraphenalia.

I went there Wed and met Peter and introduced myself and picked up some beans.
They are lovely people and I am more than happy to pick my beans up there if I am lucky enough to get some.

Hi guys,

I was delighted to meet Lucinda and Mr and Mrs Hazbean at Simply Coffee yesterday. While I was there I discussed the possibility of using SC as CSs Green Bean distribution point with Peter and Lucy.

After a bit of discussion they agreed to give it a trial for a month or so to see how it goes. If my own experiences with BeanBay are anything to go by and the way pickups work at Epic, Im sure itll be a smooth road. So if there are no objections, Marchs BeanBay will be shipped to Simply Coffee, which is located at:


43a Rundle St,
Kent Town SA 5067

Dates and times can be decided once we know a shipping date.

Id encourage all Crow Eaters involved in Marchs Bean Bay to introduce themselves to Peter and Lucy, enjoy a coffee and soak up the atmosphere which is Simply Coffee.

Hopefully there will be enough of us to have a delivery at my house and I can allocate a day for people to pick up their beans at mine or in the city.
