    Guatemala Huehuetenango



    Guatemala Huehuetenango
    is a high grown and well processed coffee meeting the SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) standard. Bright and lively granny smith type acidity when roasted to CS8 roast depths which tapers off as you take it darker into CS9. Mid bodied espresso shots that really cut through the taller milk drinks with dry, clean finish. Excellent Central American coffee with a good sized CS fan club.


    Tanzania KVCG PEABERRY



    Tanzania Kilimanjaro Volcanic Coffee Growers (KVCG) Peaberry.
    This is a collection of very well sorted peaberry beans grown by all the FairCrack village projects on Mount Kilimanjaro. The villages that contributed were Kyaurinde, Shinga, Kirishi, Masha, Ngumeni, Okaseni, Rononi, Njari Wami and Orera. All the peaberry beans were sorted from this year’s crop and packed in grainpro bags to export to CoffeeSnobs! Amazing coffee from one of the purest and most natural coffee growing areas on the planet.


    Yemen Mocha Ismaili



    Yemen Mocha Ismaili
    - It’s no secret, this my “stranded on desert island, you can only take one” coffee. Small beans which produce a surprising amount of chaff during roasting. This is the highest specialty grade from Yemen, very well sorted for a Yemeni bean an consistent in size makes roasting easy. Perforated drum roasters will lose a few beans and probably get a few stuck in holes but the results are worth it. In the cup you will get a viscous syrup of fat sultanas and spice an amazing lingering flavor that will have you wearing a trail back to the machine for more.

      Agreed, got me some Yemen! and the KVCG sounds very interesting so got that to.

        You guys were quick to see the post! I've only just hit send on the email, most CS'rs don't even know yet.

        Too many good beans is a nice problem to have.
        ...the best way I've found to deal with it is to drink more so I get to the next hopper full faster.

          Yeh I was keeping an eye out after your photos of the beans in bond....and I've decided that I can't go wrong with the Guatemala Hue or Jac as my Aeropress coffee (which I tend to use in equal proportion to espresso)....so this release was great.

            oh ow... i just ordered beans.. Guess im gonna have to put another order through...

            In my VERY limited experience... i had this bean roasted from a local roaster here in the Barossa. it was YUM!

            Ontop of that Andy absolutely nailed the description on this one.. I have been trying for weeks to work out how to describe it.

                  Hi all,
                  I'm looking to place my first BeanBay order soon and just wondered if anyone could advise on how Guatemala Huehuetenango compares with Guatemala Antigua Los Volcanas which I am down to my last couple hundred grams?

                    We do coffee at farmers market on Saturday mornings at Magic Meadow and this week we used the Tanzania Kilimanjaro Volcanic Coffee Growers (KVCG) Peaberry
                    It was roasted on Wednesday so was still super fresh but the shots off the Australium lever were stunning. CS9 in roast depth, mid bodied, bright, clean and a little fruity... sweet in milk and great as a clean doppio espresso. (I drank way too many of those in the name of testing) and everyone else that tried it, loved it.

                    I'm sure CS'rs are going to saviour the whole crop of stunning Kilimanjaro coffees that we have on offer now and in the coming months.

                      Sounds great, roasted some KVCG today and it smells really unique. Beautiful looking beans, they puff up like honey smacks.

                        Thanks Andy for those appeasing reveiw "notes" on the KVCG.
                        I aim to get some roasted early in the week as well as the Yemen that arrived early Thursday morning.
                        Fantastic delivery time from Geelong to The Hunter Valley in NSW Andy and Aus Post, as I only ordered Tuesday night.
                        Just only need to hang out until next weekend to run them through the Strega.
                        We all need and have priorities, but...... NOTHING comes before coffee!
